April 2013: My vet suggested I get these for my dog, said it would clean up his teeth nicely. Bought it 4 weeks ago, he's consumed 4 bags of these, and his teeth don't look any different. He loves the taste of them, but thats not enough to justify the price of these dog treats if they do nothing to clean his teeth.UPDATE: April 2014I continued buying these for my dog because he loves the taste. Nearly a year later after the first time I bought them, the vet said his teeth are perfectly clean and was surprised how clean for a dog his age. So I guess maybe there is something to these.

I have purchased this product for years. I usually purchase the five pound box if it is available . I am always on the search for the best price if the 4 oz bag is the only size available. I just purchased the large size "chew" at five pounds for large dogs since I couldn't find the "small" size star for small dogs. Product comes in two sizes. The four ounce bag goes to fast. Dog just never gets enough of this. It is not to hard and doesn't seem to damage teeth. Has a little abrasive action so hopefully cleans teeth while dog is enjoying.I will always be looking for the five pound box of stars!

Both my 4Lb Chihuahua and my 107Lb boxer Love them. Soon as I say do you want a star they Jump up from whatever they’re doing and come to the kitchen to get one. So happy to have Found a dental cleaner that the dogs love.

All 3 dogs like these Dentees Stars. I meant to buy the full size but made a mistake and bought the stars. A good mistake to make! It works out better to give our dogs the bite size version more frequently rather than the full size occasionally. A better way to clean up their teeth.

Just got these yesterday and both dogs (schnauzers) seem to enjoy. Unfortunately, they aren't chewing much--just swallowing so I don't think they will help with cleaning their teeth and this is the reason I purchased them. At the time I bought these, the seller's shipping costs were about 2/3 again the price of EACH package. Now he has upped the price $3 and ships free. Wish I could find these at a more reasonable total cost.

I really wanted these to work for my cat who has gingivitis but they are way to large for her to chew on. I tried to cut them in half but its difficult to cut. After I did cut them in half she still would not eat the treat and this cat eats everything.

My very picky pup LOVES these treats (highly unusual for him). They really are helping to keep his teeth clean and his doggie-breath under control. Most importantly: he LOVES them, therefore I an, too, a very happy camper and will be ordering more Very Soon!. Thanks for a wonderful product and impeccable service!!!

I like this product. It’s expensive though. Choking hazard is low and it’s good for teeth.
