Nice quality
Very nice but.... description says its perfect to extract fumes from garage. The manual says use only on interior walls and do not use for extracting hazardous fumes. Then it states it is designed for exhaust ventilation. ????? Doesn't a garage need to extract hazardous fumes out an exterior wall?

Easily installed. Quiet enough but as any in wall ...
Easily installed. Quiet enough but as any in wall fan the wall becomes the amplifier so any insulation from direct contact with the wall helps reduce the noise. Only reduced to about 5 inches but it is easily modified to go through a 2x4 stud wall.
