This ticked those boxes and to be honest i was pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was
I purchased this projector for my spare bedroom so didnt want to spend a lot of money but at the same time wanted something thats going to display a decent sized image with decent quality. This ticked those boxes and to be honest i was pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was. The projector itself is nice and small, lightweight and looks the part. All of your connections including HDMI, VGA, USB and SD card slot are based on the rear and your fans and speaker are situated in either side. All of your controls are based in the top of the projector or alternatively theres a remote which is included in the box. I plugged the projector in to my laptop via HDMI and as i said before was pleasantly surprised. I managed to project a 6-8ft image in the wall which was pretty clear. The picture was bright, good colours and overall pretty sharp for such a small device. Obviously the closer you have it the clearer the image will be but you will lose size and vice versa for longer distance. Another thing that impressed me was the fan which was pretty quite compared to other projectors I’ve had in the past. The only negative i would give is that the built in speaker is a bit on the quite side but to get the full experience i planned on hooking up a set of speakers anyway so its not an issue for me. All in all this is a fantastic projector thats more than capable of handling its own in a small home cinema or even used for business/office use for a good price.

Great Projector but wont upgrade the software in settings
The projector itself is excellent value for money and the picture and sound quality are great. The only problem is it keeps detecting a new update for the software but when you try to upgrade it using the option in settings online you get error in download and using a file Techstick provided for a usb stick it did nothing. I have asked amazon to return mine for the software issues mentioned which is a shame because I really did like this great little projector.I have now decided to keep this projector in the hopes the software issue can be resolved.

Impressive Considering The Price
This projector is impressive considering the price. The speakers aren't the best but adequate. The noise is way quieter than my full size one's. I've got this a lot closer to the wall than my full sized one. I plan to get a rear projection screen and seperate speakers later on. This will keep the projector even further away and less noise. The only quibble is that perhaps I should've spent a bit more and gone for a 2200 lumens mini-projector (this is 1800) but it's still fairly good if you go for a TV sized projection closer to the screen/wall. If you want a huge sized picture for sports or movies then this probably isn't for you. If you want a full size make sure you go for over 4000 lumens and get ready for the noise and all the hassle. I won't be going back to noisy, bulky full size projectors that's for sure. Much better for an ordinary sized home. If you consider than some of the branded short throw projectors are over £700 then this an absolute steal.

Pretty good
Picture is fine, there's enough options to play with to get the picture as you like it. It does display a good strong picture to just over the size of my 65" TV from about 3m. I'm sure it could go bigger but we didn't have the space to try it out. The fan is a bit noisy, but as long as you use the 3.5mm jack socket to plug in a decent speaker you hardly notice it. Without a speaker the sound is flat and not at all what you'd want if you're watching a movie. If you're streaming you'll need a Chromecast or suchlike, which just plugs in the back. Otherwise your legally streamed movies won't display. I haven't got any physical discs but I have no reason to think they wouldn't be just fine playing through this. Two of the buttons on the side didn't work, so loses a couple of stars. I couldn't return it as it was my daughter's birthday present and she wasn't letting go of it! She was disappointed at first but with a bit of fiddling between the buttons and the remote we got it to work. It's reasonably bright, not bright enough for daytime or early evening viewing, but it comes into it's own in near dark/very dark. The remote is cheap, but works. Though for some reason you can't fully use it on all settings, which is why it was a problem that the buttons on the projector didn't all work. If it wasn't for that though, for the price? 4.5 to five stars.

Sent it back
I already have a 4k projector but wanted something cheap and cheerful to use in the garden. The claimed brightness is total rubbish so it has to be used in near darkness and unless you are totally straight and level to the centre of the screen (there is no offset with the the lens throwing the picture up like all "proper"projectors, centre means dead centre) you will need to use the keystone which then means even if you then refocus you will lose some sharpness no matter what so at least one corner will always look like it's smeared with vaseline. It won't play sound from any file that has Dolby Digital or DTS and for something with my fire stick after 5 minutes, every time the picture would go blank but sound would still play. Sent it back and picked up a used "proper" one from Ebay and I suggest you do the same

Good bit of kit for a sensible price
I was looking for a cheap projector for occasional use, mainly iPlayer and Amazon movies from an Android phone. Picture quality is fine and built in Miracast is great. Initially had a cheap projector without the WiFi and bought a separate dongle but the dongle interfered with the picture so I sent it back and got this instead. Far better to have it all in one. Nice modern look, good performance, a bit blurry around the bottom but I have it ceiling mounted with a heavy keystone correction so that's to be expected. I'd certainly recommend it.

Do not waste your money!
It was pretty simply to set up and easy to adjust. The product worked brilliant for the first two months, but from there it just went down hill. The sound started cutting out every hour or so. Then the picture started to discolour and half the screen turned yellow, Still able to see the picture but very uncomfortable to look at after a while. I emailed the seller about these issues as I hadn’t even owned it 3 months, and it’s been 3 months later, and I haven’t had a refund or even an email back. The reason I choose this was because I thought was much cheaper than a new tv (which I couldn’t afford at the time) but honestly, I don’t think it is worth the money. Save us and get a proper tv, even a normal laptop is more reliable. Perhaps I’d feel a little differently, had I received a refund, a new projector or even a reply, but I didn’t so that’s another reason I rate this so low.

Overall fantastic projector at such a great price
The picture is fantastic for 720p pretty bright and easy to see with a lamp on in the room lightweight comes with a simple android based launcher so you can install a couple app on, bluetooth's straight to my sound bar so no unnecessary extra cables plugged in looking untidy. I can also move each corner 1 at a time to fit my screen perfect without having the usual annoying zoom issue dictating the screen or projectors position
