Black Bullet, Vol. 1: Those Who Would Be Gods - light novel (Black Bullet (light novel), 1)

This is the light novel of Black Bullet and it's not the manga. I was curious at first but I loved the series so much that I didn't really care which one it really was. I skimmed through it and I loved the artwork inside. This is the first light novel I have bought instead of the manga and I'm very happy with it. I definitely think you should buy this even though it's not the manga.

The light novel is the original version and far superior to the anime and manga. Just the same I hope a second anime season comes out and I look forward to on following this light novel series to the end. The main character is an underdog but he never gives up and even though he questions his reason for fighting he inspires hope in those that he interacts with. I look forward to seeing him and his lovable Initiator Enju grow.

Started getting into LN's more since the source material is always better. This book won't disappoint. This is the first LN that I haven't seen the anime prior to, so I didn't know what to expect. Each character faces his or own internal strife which makes for an emotional story. Both the relationships and characters are very dynamic; as well as likable. The cursed children in this book remind me a lot of the little sisters in Bioshock.It's a great read and one of my favorite books so far. Overall, I can't wait for the second book.

I'd you loved the anime you will love the novel. The translation is a little spotty in places, but not so much that it detracts from the overall experience.

funny jokes and exciting actions

One of my favorite light novel series' of all time. Although the anime adaptation was nothing too special, and will be something that turns people off from wanting to read the light novels, do understand that the light novels are much better. More attachment is given to the characters, and the pacing is perfect as opposed to being super fast in the anime. You really can't go wrong with Black Bullet's light novels.

I really liked the premise of this book. It is good quality and arrived on time. My only complaint was that the characters were pretty bland. I would have liked to have more character development to really empathize with the situations they went through. It was still an enjoyable read with a lot of action packed scenes, but it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

Watched and enjoyed the anime and decided to read the light novels which are great and really compelling imo worth checking out

Delivery was way too fast. Even Amazon couldn't keep up, apparently it's still preparing to dispatch even though i received it a day ago. So that was nice :DNovel itself is great, there's so many emotional ups and downs you may as well be on a roller-coaster of feels. It's also great to have a protagonist who actually feels remorse for killing and not some crazed psychopathic OP protagonist.
