This sewing basket is just what I was looking for to replace the one I had for many years. The basket itself is roomy and well made. The plastic tray is durable and has lots of compartments for your odds and ends. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros: The basked is very sturdy, appears to be well made and is very pretty.Cons: I was trying to replace an old basket with one of the same or larger size. When I measured the inside dimensions of my old basket, they matched the dimensions listed for this basket so I thought it would be the same size. However, the inside dimensions of this basket (large size) are 10.5" x 7.5" x 5". The pocket inside the lid can hold only very flat, thin items. If the pocket is filled to capacity, the lid won't close. The capacity of the basket is smaller than I wanted.Recommendation: Very pretty, appears to be sturdy; Capacity is smaller than expected. Pocket inside lid is of limited use. Highly recommended if you know ahead of time that the internal capacity is smaller than the dimensions given.

I needed to replace my old sewing box. After looking at many I chose this one because it had the plastic tray which I like. This plastic tray is heavier duty so should last longer. It's large enough to hold all my everyday sewing things so that they're handy. It's well-made and I expect it will last a long time.

A Beautiful floral tapestry-covered sewing box with ample room for all my sewing essentials...it didn’t come with unnecessary products so I could fill it with my own supplies...easy to organize with the sturdy plastic insert...too pretty to tuck away in the closet. So glad I chose this sewing box.

Not very well made. Staples showing everywhere. Pin cushion is barely holding on to lid.

I loved it the moment I opened the package. My last one was very expensive, it lasted over 30 years. I loved it and didn’t want to buy a new one.It became imperative that I replace it. This one is beautiful and large enough to hold all my necessary items. I looked at the plastic ones online, but I use my sewing box all the time. Not just sewing ,but crafts and making items for grandkids. I wanted to enjoy taking my sewing kit out. It puts a smile on my face when I take it from my sewing drawer.

I knew it was time to say goodbye to my original sewing basket.I have been using it for about forty years and like me it was showing some wrinkles in the fabric and weakness in the handle. I looked everywhere, read all the reviews and settled on this one. It arrived very quickly, no damage, and as described. Well thought out and well made. I don’t stuff it as I use a plastic stacking bin for my threads and gadgets..It is very attractive as well as just what I need.

I think this is a nice sewing box. It’s pretty and I like the set up. It’s a little bigger then I thought and I had ordered it because I was expecting a sewing kit to be included. I’ve ordered another box like it where the kit was included. Reading back again it doesn’t say it is included so maybe it was my error in assuming but honestly though this is a nice box I was mostly wanting the sewing kit so It was frustrating to me personally and inconvenient as I had it ordered to take to Mexico another country where it was needed it is a good box pretty nice and nice set up but I wouldn’t have payed 35.00 just for the box either I’m not saying it’s not worth that it’s just I wouldn’t haven’t at this time and for what I was needing was mostly a nice pair of sewing sizzors and needles and thread I’m personally not happy with my purchase and didn’t have time for a return as well but anyhow the box is nice though maybe a little larger then I was hoping too as it feels a little awkward but it’s a beautiful conveniently arranged sewing box as well.

I have lived my entire adult life without a sewing basket and now I wonder why. I don't sew very much but every once in a while I need to do something and I have to search through old cookie tins to find a needle somewhere. This is the perfect size for my humble assortment of sewing notions and I can organize things perfectly.
