I bought these brushes specifically to spread butter on filo pastry when I make spinach pie. The brush does not spread well on filo. It bunches it up.

Good quality and very easy to clean. Held liquids well and produced an even coating when used to bast or apply melted butter to pie crusts.

Perfect for adding bbq sauce to slow baking ribs! Cook ribs at 250 degrees for almost 2 hours can dry the outside so i add watered down bbq sauce every 45 mins to keep the flavor and texture from drying out wihtout adding too much sauce by the end of almost 2 hours, the water is dehydrated and the flavor is perfect.

Which will gradually become old and shed their bristles (in my experience). Also promises the advantage of not gradually absorbing liquids which may discolor or accumulate odor, even after a run in the dish washer. These will be stocking stuffers for the cooks on our family this holiday season!

This is one of my favorite pieces of cooking equipment. The brushes are perfect for basting food with marinades and barbecue sauces. Additionally, I use them to apply oil to pans prior to cooking. They clean easily!

Love this set!! I have been using a regular paint brush for basting things for years, and it was a rusty mess!! Very happy with the quality and color, as well as how well these work!

They work great for applying butter and egg wash to baked goods which is all I needed. They do fine in the dishwasher. I couldn’t ask for much more.

I bought to spread bbq sauce and marinades on meat while grilling....So far so good, holds up and cleans up well....I would buy again.
