Great gift, it works beautifully and is large and sturdy. It's recommended by the manufacturer to wash this by hand, I believe that as long as you put it in the top shelf off the dishwasher you should be fine, but if I'm wrong I'll come back here and edit this review.

My sis and I are big fans of the books and movies, so when I saw this I had to buy it as a gift! It works perfectly! The liquids inside the mug do have to be very hot for the gradient to register through the mug, but honestly, rinsing the outside with warm/hot water works too in uncovering the gradient. The mug size is not too small and holds a good amount of liquids for morning coffee and other hot drinks; the handle is comfortable to grasp too. Overall would definitely recommend, it's worth the buy if you're a fan :]

Bought this as a christmas gift for my sister. She loved it! Arrived super fast and undamaged. Transition time for image is quick and even. Have had other products that show up uneven but no issues at all with this mug!
