Stays in place, not too tight, super sturdy.
I bought these for mountain biking. I have them on for the whole day riding in 90° weather and I forget I even have them on. Super comfortable, even when riding in shorts and the guard is directly on the skin. I've never had to readjust it because it was slipping or binding. Fortunately I haven't needed them yet because so far I've stayed in the saddle, but the construction is super solid so I have no fear that if I need them, they'll protect me. I highly recommend.

Far exceeded expectations
Love them. After a bad crash and scraped-up knees, decided to invest in some good knee pads and these have more than delivered. Knowing what I know now, I'd have paid double. They are so comfortable, I completely forget they are on while riding and that is one of the best parts. If they were uncomfortable, you are likely to start getting complacent and decide "Well, I'm probably not going to crash this time so I don't want to deal with them on their easy trail." With these, you don't have to worry about the comfort. Also, they stay exactly where you put them and don't slide down like I was worried about. LOVE THEM!

Tested in Moab
Just returned from 5 days of riding mostly black diamond trails in Moab Utah. I've been riding for years without knee protectors but after a crash a few weeks earlier that cut up my knee pretty good, I decided to add knee protectors to my kit. I did not want a heavy or confining brand that would interfere with pedaling and I wasn't looking for downhiller armor protection, just something to take the brunt of trail-type crashes in rocky areas. After reading a lot of reviews I ordered these in large and XL. I normally wear large in road knee and leg warmers, and just about everything else. The large were way too small and I could barely get them on. The XL however, fit perfectly. The are about as tight as my large sized road knee warmers. I did 25 miles on my trainer with them before taking them out on the trails to test pedal ability. I virtually forgot they were on after a couple of miles. I was surprised and optimistic. So, our group met in Moab and I rode them daily for the 5 long days of riding. We rode 13-17miles per day except the last day when we rode about 7 miles around Klonzo. All of the rides we're blue/black or black trails and our group tends to ride fast and hard - most of the group race road and XC. These warmers performed great, though I fortunately did not have to directly test their ground-contact performance. They wore well, never interfered with pedaling and I forgot about them before each ride even began.I don't know how they will feel in the heat, but while the temps were only low 50's, we were hot in the sun and at our pace it got sweaty but my knees never felt hot or any more sweaty than the rest of me.I'm converted. I will wear these on all our local and destination trail and enduro rides. I don't see any downside and plenty of upside to wearing them. I'm still riding with no elbow protectors and I don't plan to change that anytime soon, but I already feel exposed when I hop on my MTB without these protectors.

Feels comfortable but only lasted me one day
I am no saint when it comes to how I treat my equipment. I push it to the limit, falling on it, getting it wet, stretching it, and using it in both cold and hot climates. I’ve been mountain biking for a couple of years, and after trying Leatt's chest padding, I was eager to test out their other products. Two weeks ago, I purchased their knee pads to ensure I'd be protected for an upcoming trip to an MTB park. Initially, the knee pads felt great—very comfortable and breathable. I was very happy with the product until I actually had to put it to the test. After a few hours of riding, my bike slipped, and I fell straight to the ground, knees first. The knee pads protected me from the initial impact but broke immediately afterward, leaving me with wounds on my knees. The knee pads are sewn in a way that they can easily come apart at the top section upon impact.I love the idea and the design direction they are going with here, and I don't mind spending $70 on it. I just need them to last me more than one fall. Right now, this product is a pass for me. I don't mind checking them out again later when they update the design.

So far these are the only knee guards I've found that I can wear on long rides.
After 20 years of mountain biking with my fair share of crashes, my knees have taken a beating. I finally decided it was time to find a set of knee guards that I could wear without causing yet more discomfort or overheating. These are still warm, which I mostly notice on hot days. But they seem to stay put and don't slide down while pedaling. They also don't put any pressure on my knee caps throughout the pedaling motion, so I've been fine wearing them on long rides.

Good pads
Ride long days in hot weather and didn’t get too hot. Comfortable to pedal in. Followed the sizing and they fit fine.

Best Lightweight Knee Pad... Ever?
I might have gone a little crazy and tried out about 10 different knee pads and these were probably the ones I was least excited about when I started looking, but they ended up being the most comfortable pads out of all of them. After putting in a couple hundred miles in them, I can say they are the best pads I've ever owned and I happily reach for them every ride (except for DH days/resort riding or shuttle laps). They breath really well when you're cruising downhill and they're very comfy to pedal in with no irritation or chafing.Others I tried on... POC Joint VPD (better padding, not as comfy, too expensive), Dakine Slayer (meh, the new 2020 model isn't as good as the old ones), Troy Lee Stage (great pads, didn't like the thigh high knee sleeve feel), Troy Lee Raid (fit was just okay), Ion K pact (whole other level of protection, but not as comfy), Sweet Protection (seriously amazing, but warm), Scott Soldier 2 (not bad, but didn't love)

Meh
I mean will the offer an amount of protection over wearing nothing at all? Yes, but not a huge amount.

Fit great, work great
Comfortable to ride and protective in crashes. 2nd pair for me. First lasted about 4 yrs - I am a lousy rider so the leg wraps got tore up quite a bit

Molto comode
Molto confortevoli, si può pedalare per 50/60 km senza fastidio.Non ho ancora testato il livello di protezione e spero di non farlo mai, però la sensazione è che diano ampia copertura.
