Dyna-Glo 30,000 BTU Liquid Propane Blue Flame Vent Free Wall Heater, White

I use this heater to warm my shed when I am working in it. I run it for about 40 minutes to bring the temperature up from about 45 degrees to about 75 degrees. I hate to turn it off because I love standing in front of it, but it works so well heating the shed I have to turn it off. Though the manufacturer recommends a 100 lb. tank I use a standard 20 lb. tank which I can easily switch out and refill. It had a slight smell when I first used it, but the more I use it the less it smells. (like a new car smell that goes away over time). I have a brand new carbon monoxide detector in the shed, and though I have used up several tanks of liquid propane (which last me about 3 weeks each) the fireplace has never set off the CO detector.I am very happy with this purchase. The photo shows the fireplace/heater wall mounted with an inexpensive fireproof mat behind and below it, as well as a little 200 watt "My Heat" electric heater on the glass table beside it. Once the shed is heated with propane, the little electric heater has no problem maintaining the heat at a very comfortable temperature. I'm so glad I found this cost effective solution.

This heater is amazing, heats up house really well. Easy to operate works well. Good size i was surprised how big it was.

It works great puts off of good heat seems to be efficient. Was a little discouraged after initial set up the pilot would not light wasn’t getting very far with the help section on Amazon or able to get a hold of the company. Though it specifies over and over again, do not open the unit in the instructions that is what I had to do however, it was simple to get it going. You have to hold down the knob on pilot setting and hit the ignitor as you normally do to start the pilot but you also have to plug the jet on side of the pilot to get it to started as soon as your pilot is started you can put the unit back together and it will continue to operate fine just trying to help someone out because you can return it you just get led in circles no matter what option you try .

Just what we need this winter. We had freezing weather of 21° F, and probably this coming day, it's gonna get colder; this heater can heat my entire house (1175 sq/ft) with just a low setting. Easy to mount and operate, I'm glad I ordered this just in time for winter.

Caveat emptor (but not about the heater)!I own this heater (and gave it all the stars as a perfect solution to most gas heaters) and intended to get one for my mother. I accidently ordered two. I am trying to return one of them. I got an uniformed message about how they couldn't make a return because of its hazardous materials:"Non-returnable. Transportation of this item is subject to hazardous materials regulationThis item is non-returnable because of transportation regulation, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement through Your Orders by providing an image of the item and its defects."This item, still in its box, is not hazardous in any way.Customer service is unwilling to offer a way to correct this mistake. Just make sure the quantity, measurements, and compatibility are correct before you give these people your money - they are not ashamed to take it and keep it and won't enable their people to help you.
