Avigal Henna-Burgundy (4oz. can)

the can was a lot smaller than anticipated

I have been using henna for years. prefer burgundy, but as my hair getting grey, it is more difficult to find good henna. Avigal henna covered my grey hair the first time I used it (although it is recommended to be done twice). So, for the first time I did not have orange "highlights".I will recommend it to my friends.

I've been using Henna for 65 years. Avigal brand color RED for the last 30. Nice color of Red. It is sold out everywhere, so tried the Burgundy as it was the closest to what I was using. It died my roots ORANGE. Not red, not burgundy, but ORANGE. I can't recommend it at all. It was so disappointing. Trying another brand.

I've been dyeing my hair with henna for about two years now. I saw that Avigal came in burgundy and decided to give it a try.Big mistake.The henna doesn't mix well so giant globs of the stuff wind up everywhere except your hair. Trying to get your hair fully covered is nearly impossible. Worst of all, my hair came out nowhere close to burgundy. This henna took me from a nice bright red with dark blonde roots to an all-over murky chestnut brown. I'll go back to getting my henna from hennaforhair.com from now on. And if you are new to using henna, don't start with this crap. Get real henna, or if you want to go black, do a henna and indigo mix at home.Avoid this stuff like the plague.
