Large Clear Tote Bag with Zipper Closure (Blue)

I bought a clear plastic backpack for a friend who has to pass through security often. It seemed fine until winter came and the 50 degree temperature caused the bag to crack and crumble apart. After reading reviews about security bags needed for sports stadiums, this bag got the best review. It's very spacious, transparent, with a reinforced bottom and sides by the canvas material. The bottom canvas looks like it takes up more space, blocking the view from the side, but it actually flattens out more. This widens the back by an extra three or four inches and gives more space and more visibility. For example, you could carry about six to eight moderately sized textbooks side by side, or it collapses to carry half that. It seems very sturdy and the plastic seems a mix of vinyl and plastic and much sturdier. It's also quite tall, so it can be hand carried or shoulder carried. The zipper over the top seems very sturdy and easy to maneuver.

Very nice clear bag. It is the exact size allowed into any sports stadium, so if it doesn't fit, don't pack it. The plastic is nice and thick and the straps are securely sewn on. The zipper is made to last. This would also make a great personal toiletry bag if you share a bath room with someone and want to keep everything all together to take bath and forth with you. When I first pulled it out of the box I thought it was too big or what I needed. But then one day I needed to take my laptop to work and it fit perfectly in this bag with room to spare for an umbrella, a tech bag, a few notebooks, and a Jimmy Johns sandwhich. It hasn't broken yet and I've had it for about a week or so. I'm satisfied with it.

Great for situations requiring see-through security. Bought it for the 2014 Boston Marathon and it did the job. Security had no issues with it, although they had no guidelines on maximum size like some venues do -- only that it had to be see-through. Had it loaded up with some relatively heavy stuff and it held up fine. Seems sturdy enough for general use. Now I use it for the beach and boating as well and I expect to get many years of good use out of it while treating it with care.

Overall great

I'm a nurse and we were told to start carrying clear bags at work. This is a large clear tote with a zipper on top and a pocket on the side. I was hoping for something a bit smaller but this does what its required to do without frills. It's good enough for work which is why I bought it. It's large enough for a day at the beach!

I crochet prolifically, and have an assortment of ways to organize projects. This bag is the best, by far! I like the clear vinyl, especially, because the yarns and materials to be used are easily accessible. No more digging around in the dark recesses of a tote bag, looking for that one color of yarn needed. In addition, the bag has a pocket on the outside that is great for placing an assortment of tools - hooks, yarn needles, blunt-nosed scissors, and such. Perfect!

I purchased this tote for work. I've been using it for about a month now and it's holding up pretty well. The straps are sturdy and the plastic is not the best quality, but it's holding on pretty good for now. I'm ruff on my work bags and I think this one will last for a bit.
