Weber Grate Cleaner

I spray this on my gunky WSM grill as I usually clean the day after cooking. Well, low and slow cooking tends to finish early evening and I just can't be bothered cleaning straight after eating. So, I spray this on the gril the next day, leave it to do its thing for 10 minutes while I clean the other bits and pieces and then the gunk comes off that bit easier with a bit of scrubbing than it would if you were tackling burnt on dry stuff. It's not a miracle worker but certainly does make the job easier for me. It leaves my grill a bit shinier afterwards too.

This Weber BBQ grate cleaner does a solid job when it comes to cutting through grease and burnt-on residue. I’ve used it on fairly dirty grill grates and it works well with a bit of soaking time and light scrubbing — it loosens grime effectively and makes cleaning much easier compared to just using water or basic detergents. The formula itself seems strong but not overly harsh, and it doesn’t leave behind any unpleasant residue when rinsed properly. It’s definitely a step up from cheaper alternatives in terms of cleaning performance. The only downside is the spray trigger, which tends to get stuck or feel inconsistent during use. It can interrupt the flow when you’re in the middle of cleaning, which is a bit frustrating and takes away from an otherwise good product. Overall, the cleaner itself is very effective, but the packaging could be improved. Still worth buying for the performance, just be prepared for a slightly fiddly trigger.

Hubby is so happy with this weber grate cleaner .. .. that he actually cleans the BBQ!!

This item is actually very strong and effective. The smell isn’t strong also but the size of this bottle and the price is pretty expensive in my opinion. I only bought this once and used for my griddle pan. It definitely removes grease better than the cheaper grease removers that you may buy from the pound stores.

Ich habe den Reiniger für meinen Weber-Grill inzwischen schon mehrfach gekauft und bin nach wie vor zufrieden. Eingebrannte Fett- und Grillrückstände lassen sich deutlich leichter entfernen als mit normalen Haushaltsreinigern. Einfach aufsprühen, kurz einwirken lassen und anschließend mit Bürste oder Schwamm nacharbeiten. Natürlich muss man bei starken Verschmutzungen noch etwas schrubben, aber der Reiniger nimmt einem schon viel Arbeit ab. Der Geruch ist für einen Grillreiniger völlig in Ordnung und die Anwendung unkompliziert. Für mich hat sich der Kauf auf jeden Fall gelohnt und deshalb habe ich ihn auch schon mehrmals nachbestellt.

Its not bad but there are much better products out there, you really need to scrub hard to get dirt off.
