Wedge-It WEDGE-IT-1 The Ultimate Door Stop, Lime Green

I have worked in housekeeping for 10 years and these are by far my favorite door stops. I like how durable they are and I like that I can position them in the door wedge so I don't have to pick it up off of the floor after every room.

I use this toHold the door open when I need to get ECV in and out of hotel room doorways. It works great! Unfortunately I left my old one behind and had to get a new one. My recommendation is buy two!

Works reliably as intended.

Using for home defense have in rooms behind door for deployment in the event of break in use to barricade yourself in room to slow down intruder. Not a solid barrier but would provide additional time to away from treat.

It says and has a video about how it helps toddlers to not be able to slam the door shut so fingers can’t get pinched. That’s what sold me on it. Well, today I had a newly 2 year old push my door from behind and I heard wood cracking, which resulted in my hinge pulling away from the actual door. I wish I could return this but it’s already after the rerun date. Don’t buy for use with kids.

that's a cool tool, it works, but sometimes does not hold the door completely open. still good anyways!

Update 7/1/19: Just got my 4th one. Have accidently left 3 at customer locations. Haven't had an issue with using them at all. I noticed one reviewer said his broke. I could picture it breaking when used hinge-style and someone pushes on the door, that would be a lot of force. Nevertheless, mine have been fine in all 3 positions and all floor types. I wonder if some people realize it has more rubber on one side, and obviously that side contacts floor. Common sense? I'm not so sure.-------------Works great. Would definitely buy again if lost (paranoid it will get stolen). I use doorstops often, my job is moving heavy equipment into doctors offices. This is best one I've found, so easy for the hinge mode, even though it's usually a little less than 90 degrees. Have also used "top of door" mode when I needed the door open 90 degrees and it worked also. I actually haven't tried it on the floor yet - haven't needed to. I keep it clipped to a large carabiner on my tool bag, very convenient.
