They smell, they fizz, they moisturize - kinda
I will start this review off by saying that I have never tried a LUSH bathbomb and probably never will as they are WAAAAY out of my budget. I'm on my second order of these, so I find them worth the cost.PROS- All the bombs I've tried (6 so far) have had a strong smell. Not overwhelming. Just strong enough to permeat the air and leave a nice scent on your skin once you exit the tub.- Delightful, fun scents. I think some people actually see this as a con. A lot of people have complained about the "Monkey Farts" scent (which I haven't recieved, but I know is supposed to be a blend of fruity scents). I think those people are a little humorless. Bath time is supposed to be fun. These scents are fun! They seem to be sent out randomly. So far I have received the following scents: Apple Orchid (2, one in each box), Birthday Cake (2, one in each box), Grape Soda (2, one in each box *Also, my favorite scent so far), Cool Waters (makes the water an amazing turquoise that was so pretty), Mango (first bomb I tried that contained glitter, did not make as big of a mess as I thought it would, but still not my preference), Coconut Coconut (*most disappointing so far, turned the water an ugly brownish pink). Those are the six scents I've tried. I have 10 remaining that I haven't tried in scents that include Red Clover & Tea, Bergamont Lemon, Crazy Love, Snickerdoodle, Candy Cane, Blueberry, Kiss Me, Lemon Grass, Moroccan Vanilla, Orange Aloe and Bubble Gum.- They included holiday scents in my most recent box. I was thrilled at the inclusion of Candy Cane and Snickerdoodle bombs. I- These really do fizz well.- They vividly color the water if the bomb is a color. I had one bomb that was white and obviously did nothing to color the water. Still had plenty of scent, though. The bombs with swirls are the most fun so far to watch dissolve. I've had blue, green, purple, brownish pink.- Price (these work out to about $2.10 per bomb).-Size (these are 4.50z.) These are by far the biggest bombs you can buy for this prize. I've seen bombs that are 2oz. going for thisi price, but nothing bigger. I know some people have said you can cut them in half and use half later, but I wouldn't advise that simply because I feel like these are the perfect size for a large bath.- Packaging. Like I said, I've ordered two boxes of these, and I've received not a single broken or damaged ball. Everything has been intact. The bombs are easy to get into they are wrapped in little plastic bags and then tied with a ribbon. There is no shrinkwrapped plastic to remove from each ball.Cons- These are not the most moisturizing bombs I've ever used. I've tried another type of bomb that was smaller by more expensive per bomb. Those bombs made me feel very moisturized.. These feel as though, you went into the tub with lotion on and most of it got washed off and you now have just the vaguest sense of softer skin. To me, this isn't a huge deal. Bath bombs are more about the experience more than about the after effects for me.- Each ball is labeled with a name, but not with a description of the scent. So, with Cool Waters for example, I had no idea of what I was getting into with smelling the ball after it was unpackaged. Some of them are pretty self-explanatory, though.Overall, these are a fantastic deal. I love them. Its a real treat for me to use them. I have chronic anxietey and these are a delightful way to relax.

Love these so far
I got these as a gift to myself. They were available at a Lightning Deal price before Christmas. I worked so hard this Christmas trying to make the holidays special for my family that I overdid it and by Christmas Eve night I felt nothing but fatigue and agitation. So, I opened the box a ball labeled "Mistletoe " rolled out. Perfect for the season! There was also a handmade bar of Green Tea Verbena soap. I put the bath bomb in the bathwater of my deep soaked tub and it fizzed up a storm, turning the water a beautiful teal green and filling the air with a light herbaceous scent. The color and smell reminded me of a wonderful bubble bath that I was lucky enough to find in Hamilton, Bermuda on a trip I was fortunate enough to go on as a teen. I put on an ocean sounds playlist and I just sat there and let every bit of stress and anxiety go. This was my first time ever using a bath bomb. I had used many other bath additives but never a bath bomb. It was a luxurious experience and I now see what all the hype is about. For a fraction of what it would cost to go to a spa - even a day spa for a mani/pedi - you can create a self nurturing luxurious experience. I used to go to a favorite day spa every couple weeks but then I moved to a more rural area and no longer had ready access to some of the amenities of a large city. I kind of missed those beautiful moments of being able to give the gift of soul deep relaxation to myself. I was able to get a bit of that back and I didn't expect that. There's the fragrance and color to delight the senses plus water. A little music and perhaps mood lighting or a candle and you have your own spa. Left my skin soft and not stripped. Also liked that it didn't soil or stain my tub. A few passes with the sprayer wand of my shower head and the tub was clean. The soap was also amazing. Very rich and sudsy, olive oil soap with a light relaxing fragrance. That was a much appreciated and unexpected bonus. I would definitely purchase both the bath bombs and soap again.

Amazing Bath Bombs, Even More Amazing Price!
Overall I am quite happy with these bath bombs. They arrived on time, were securely packaged, and as a whole smelled wonderful. I noted that a few of them were a little crumbly, but that's to be expected when shipping the items across states rather than picking them up at a nearby bath supply store. Speaking of which, I cannot get over the price!! For $20 you could buy 10 of these bath bombs, or you could buy 2-3 at Lush, Bath & Body Works, and the like! These are about the size as the ones from Lush, if not maybe slightly smaller, but the oils and moisturizers are most certainly there. I could not believe how soft and moisturized my skin felt after using one!The scents I got in my delivery were orange aloe, coconut almond, tie dye, calming vetiver, fresh cut grass, bubblegum, lavender & lace, sunshine, Mother Earth, and blueberry. I'm a little concerned about the fresh cut grass and bubblegum scents because those are two that I've never cared for, but I shall see. I also gave my mom the coconut almond scented one because she loves bath bombs but has to be careful about the dyes--it's better that has little to no dye in bath bombs she uses and this one didn't seem to much, just a light brownish-beige color. (Not to mention, it smelled wonderful!) I'm also a huge fan of the color blue, so to have two blue ones was quite a happy surprise for me.While most of the bath bombs I received seemed to have bits of petals and other things in them, I noticed that two of mine contain glitter. I am not sure how that will go over in my tub, so I'll be sure to post an update about that afterwards!Overall, this is a great buy! I spent a while eyeballing this offer before finally just buying them. Don't do like I did. Just buy them. Just do it. You'll be so happy that you did!
