Stormafit Men's Farnham Belted Wax Jacket

A well constructed jacket with some padding and a nice check lining. I'm a 38 chest and the Medium size fits just right. The jacket is very dark brown - and not black as it appears in the photo - this gives it a more retro look. You could easily pay a lot more for something of lesser quality - and it's made in England, amazing!

This is a nice jacket, seems well made in the very brief time I had it in my possession. It was however too large for me, I am size 40 and chose a Medium. It would be ok with a chunky jumper but the thing that let it down was the belt. The BELT IS GIGANTIC. I mean SUMO WRESTLER size. What's the point? If the belt was the right size I might have kept it as it would have nipped the jacket in at the waist as you see in the picture. Why supply a size 50 belt with a size 40 chest, makes no sense. I was considering ordering a belt separately as I did like the jacket but it seemed an unnecessary hassle. It is worth noting that the jacket is brown but the photo would suggest that it is a VERY dark brown almost black but it's not.It was easy to send back and Amazon refunded quickly with no problems.

Product itself was ok, belt slightly larger than expected but I can get that adjusted at a local tailors. The only thing that aggrieved me was the label on the jacket says £79.99. I paid £99.99 plus postage. I've tried to contact the supplier on line but can only send it back. I've kept the label and have a photo. Otherwise the jacket is nice. It fits well, has a good zip, seems well padded Just not as the price on the label. Product code MJ081BS FARNHAM WAX COAT. Label says was £109.99 now £79.99. I WAS CHARGED £99.99 plus postage. I feel a little ripped off actually

Very good value, fits well and looks good. Is quite warm too (padded but not too thick). Very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent quality jacket and a really good fit, the only problem is that it stinks. Not a musty, waxy smell as one would expect from a waxed jacket, more like a sour fruit smell, rather like grapefruit. I've been advised that this is the smell of linseed and that it will fade, but after eight months I still can't bear to wear it.

Great jacket. I didn't expect it to be actually this well made. Nicely waxed and it also has a nice red tartan inner liner. This is the perfect choice if youre looking for a quality jacket and you want to avoid being ripped off by brands with bigger names. Im 1,82m, about 80 kg, and the Large size fits me well enough to be wearing a sweater underneath.

I nearly bought this jacket from a local garden centre fro £115 so I was well pleasedto pay just £79. It was just what I needed baring in mind the incessant rain we haveendured of late. It's well made fit's well and looks good so much so that I've seldomworn anything else of late. Very good value for the money and I would recommend itto anyone needing something similar.

I ordered a Medium and it was too big, I exchanged it for a Small and it was still too big, got refund. I really love the colour of this jacket, length was perfect, very warm jacket, looks stylish, but...it just seemed to bulky around the stomach for me, also I did not like the zips on end of sleeves, just not my style. Just to add it is a really nice jacket, but beware of sizing.
