Cup Phone Holder for Car, Universal Adjustable Cup Holder Phone Mount Compatible with iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, LG, Sony, and Nokia

Bought this as a gift for a guy with a Truck. His phone holder was low to the console....always bending over to look at his phone. I searched and found this one. It came in the most beautiful box....perfect gift! So easy to adjust and remove. After he had it, and I saw how great it was.....I bought 2 for my sedans. I love them. Phone is right there up high , no longer squinting at the dashboard. It can be adjusted lower, if you need it. If you get a different vehicle, it transfers and adjust to any vehicle.

For the cup-holder type of phone holder -- this is probably the best on amazon. Base does a great job of expanding out and fitting the cup.. neck is sturdy and very adjustable - and holder is very good. Everything is both well designed, and sturdy in build quality. This did not work for my VW as it got in the way of my shifter and other center controls but that's on me - literally anything cup-holder oriented on my car would block everything as the cup-holders are in-line and very close to my shifter so I down-vote myself for not being more insightful on that. For other vehicles, especially with cup-holders that are side-by-side or ones further back - this would work perfectly.

So I needed a phone holder because my car is older and there wasn't a great place to put a suction cup holder and I dislike the vent holders (makes my phone hot). So, this was perfect. Fits well in the cup holder, I actually have it in a pull out cup holder which makes it's location to the driver perfect. This unit does need some tweeks. I'm still on the fence if I'l going to keep using this. Here's the problems: 1. I had to take my pop socket off the back of my phone for it to fit. There wasn't enough clearance for it to sit in the holder with it on. (that's a drawback). 2. The little pull out (foot holder) that supports your phone's bottom isn't long enough. My phone barely fits on it and it's quite awkward. 3. My phone is 6" x 3" and it sits very high in the holder. The side brackets that hold the phone hold it just below the middle of the phone. I can't adjust it because of the bottom foot rest (lets call it that). 4. The brackets that hold the phone in is wierdly designed. Theres a button on the back you press and it Slowly opens the brackets, then you use your hands to close the brackets around your phone. But, when you want to remove your phone, you have to reach around and try to feel for that button and it doesn't always respond. This definitely needs a redesign. I like how it sits high and you can adjust the height it sits as well as the angle. But, not liking the way it holds my phone and that I can't get it out of the holder easily when exiting my car. Still on the fence if I will keep this and just deal with it or return it and find something else. Hating I can't have a popsocket on my phone and use this holder, I got used to the popsocket and it has saved me from dropping my phone.

This is probably one of the best phone cup holders I've ever purchased but it definitely has a design flaw. It is easy to set up, expands to fit the cup holder perfectly, and is very sturdy. There is no wiggle or rocking when driving which I love. I have purchased quite a few mobile phone holders in the past but all were unstable. The design flaw is that where the phone pad attaches to the actual holder, the groves are not secure enough and when you attempt to move the phone from the pad the entire pad dislodges from the holder. Now sure how this can be remedied but I hope I don't have to send it back due to this problem. I ordered this as a new item but I'm thinking that maybe I received an item that had been returned and was shipped to me with maybe missing adhesive or something. The holder was mailed in an envelope that was too small for the package so was opened at the top with the envelope flap unsealed. Also, the holder shipping box was crushed and gapping. Either way if I can't fix it I will send it back for a replacement.

very sturdy and stable. But the design of the mount has an issue. the lock mechanism to keep the phone mount is 4 pin that you need to adjust. but when you want to remove the phone fast, it comes also with the mount, as i believe it needs to add 5th pin to hold it in place. its still a good product, but the mount it self need to be locked with the holder, i keep removing my phone and it's just attached to my phone all the time

It fits the cup holder area however the whole structure wobbles a-lot and your phone dances in the air left and right, additionally the tightening ring is loose so it make also wobbly noises i expected to be sturdy but it wasn't at all, it kind of does the job but i hated it
