Atach Digital GPS Speedometer Gauge 3-3/8'' (85mm)

Purchased this to solve a speedometer problem with a 1972 MG BGT with a Rover 4.6 and T5 5-speed. The previous owner had put in a speedometer that only worked sometimes and was not accurate. After searching for a reasonably priced solution, getting another speedometer, cable and calibration was too complicated and more expensive. I received the speedometer but had to finish other issues with the car before installing it. Installation was easy as long as you have room behind the dash. Wiring is straight forward. I mounted the antenna on the dash and it worked fine. Today was the first time I was able to drive the car with the new speedometer and it worked nicely. The only issue I had was some glare at times. But it was much better than using the navigation app on my smart phone. Easy solution for my problem. Will probably buy the black one for my 1967 BGT project.

Has to be reset from knots back to mph sometimes due to stalling and restarting of the bike when it's cold may put a bypass switch on 12v line to stop thisWell here is a update it gets one star after today 9-20-2016 the unit is dead sporadic turn on not a wiring issue 12v constant, bike was out in the sun today hit about 85 degrees worked fine on the way into work when I left nothing tried multiple times unplugging it no help when I got home shut down and let it sit for 5 minutes turned bike back on and it lit up, then shut off bike and turned back on and dead again very unhappy

This is a temp replacement for my BMW R65LS motorcycle. I should have spent more money on another model. There is a lot of glar off the front of the curved glass. Just barely can see the numbers and I really don't need to be taking my eyes off the road that long. I am going to make a sun shade for it to cut down glare. A little slow loading up gps, but it is very accurate. No trip odometer either.

Only reason one star because I can’t go lower. I would give this unit a neg 26 It works sometimes. Checked all wires all good. Just a bad device. Another issue. You can’t see the darn display.

Mounted in my motorhome because the odometer went out. This is much cheaper than sending in the dash panel for a repair that may or may not work. Bit of a glare problem so it wouldn't work for me as a full time speedometer. Since I'm using it for just the odometer it's fine.

Bought this for my '99 BMW R1100s motorcycle. I changed final drive out and had no provision for speedo pickup on the newer unit. Fits into my dash great. Had to do some grinding and trimming, but looks stock. IT DOES HAVE GLARE OFF THE GLASS, but I can live with it. At least I have a speedometer and odometer now! Fairly fast upload rate and GPS satellite connection. Very pleased.

it works intermittent and I got 2 tickets with it cause it reads when it works 9 mph lower then speed limit . if it says I`m driving 70mph I`m really going 79mph. then it turns itself off while driving down the road, and 20 minute to 1hour it turns itself on,, not a good part at all very disappointed I waisted money on this and wired my truck for it

Utterly useless for racing but great as a stand alone unit in a daily driver (we have a race car). Too hard to see during race conditions. Needs different contrast to really make the numbers pop.
