Holts Electrical Contact Spray Aerosol - 500ml

As a busy DJ, the last thing I need is noisy dry joints on my amps and mixer - especially when you're putting out a lot of volume - the scratchy sound at high volume is enough to empty a dance floor. I tried a few other brands, but the cheaper ones were no good at all, and one of the VERY well known brands only did part of the job. I have to report that Holts Electrical Contact Spray worked brilliantly. I wasn't surprised to be honest, as this is a brand that's been around as long as I have - and I don't mean as long as I've been a DJ, I mean as long as I've been alive. I also took off the knobs of my Marshall combo amp, thinking I may as well do ALL my kit while I have the spray out, and the gain pot on my combo was really noisy. First application made it a lot better and the second spray cured the noise altogether. My next job is going to be the cleaning the electrics on my car engine. I'm not one for writing lengthy reviews, but I was so happy with the results I got with Holts, I felt it I owed it to them. I only wish I'd not tried to save a few pounds by purchasing the other brands, because in the long run I gained nothing by doing so. This is the Swiss Army Knife of electrical contact cleaning and protection, so Holts will be my go-to from now on.

Excellent, bought to clean the die-cast chassis of my son's model trains. This contact cleaner ate through years of grease and grime in seconds. A great can to have kicking about the shed.

Delivery with in 18hrs, product as described. Easy to use quiet spray, a non tacky substance. I use it for cleaning electrical components and hydraulic components.

Excellent stuff, whatever it is. Sprayed wd 40 on my alternator, followed by this to get the wd 40 off, after rogue oil or tap water getting on it accidentally. Saw a jump in voltage at normal operation, and felt relieved that I'd saved a grand. Sprayed transmission connector plug with it, performing perfectly.

I was a little apprehensive as my usage is more like cleaning circuit board connectors whereas the description talks more about removing grease and dirt etc. Thankfully works excellently on all of the above!
