this product appears to be unreliable at as few uses as 3, the sharping wheel seem to not contact the knife blades when attempting to sharp various cutting blades

Extremely poor product horrible
This product is horrible my advice to anyone looking to purchase a knife sharpener not to purchase this one. It has no power as soon as you place a knife in to sharpen it bogs out this product is a very inferior product might have been good 20 years ago but there are so many better sharpeners out there now. BAD PURCHASE DON’T BUY.

Inconsistent Edge
The Winnprime Professional 2-Stage Electric Knife Sharpener did not impress me. I had to be really gentle when putting the blades in to be sharpened because it took very little pressure to stop the grinding wheels. I thought that perhaps it took very light pressure because it had fine precision or something. The knives came out with an inconsistent sharpened edge. I tried my best to keep everything even and at precise angles, using the two step coarse and fine sharpening. It still wasn't as I had hoped. After the initial results, I decided against trying it on my set of very expensive surgical steel knives as I was concerned about what it would do to them.

Great knife sharpener
After using many different manual knife sharpeners I finally decided to try an electric one. I am really pleased with this one, it takes seconds to get started and is very easy to use on all types of knives and has made a massive difference to the knives we have sharpened so far. it is fairly quiet when using so does not cause a problem for anyone else who may be nearby. It has two options for sharpening and polishing your knives, if they are not badly damaged you only need to run them through stage 2 and you can still see the difference. Stores away easily as it is a nice compact size.
