The picture is very misleading. We expected the kit to somewhat resemble the picture. The picture on the BACK is accurate, but this product doesn't come with about half of what is shown on the front picture. Just fyi. NONE of the beakers come with the kit. It does come with the 3 tubes but that's it.

A nice starter set but unfortunately the lids of the chemicals broke whilst trying to take them off and therefore got stuck in the tubes.

Just what we wanted for our grandson. Delivered on time. It looks very interesting and sure that he will enjoy doing the many experiments and activities. Good value for the money.

Bought as a present for my niece. She liked it and found the experiments interesting. I was slightly disappointed with the lack of chemicals compared to the chemistry sets of my youth - that's health and safety for you I guess! Note that you'll have to supplement this with ingredients from around the house, that's not a bad thing as it teaches children something about the properties of the world around them.

My daughter got this for her seventh birthday and now we are gradually working our way through the experiments. It is fab a bit plastic-y and might not last a long time but the booklet in itself is amazing to use the correct scientific terminology and she loves it doing it on her own or with me. Highly recommend if your LO wants one.
