Stainless Steel Neti Pot

there is no handle and there is no top. very inconvenient to use. save your money and buy a different product.

The reason I purchased this item was I thought I could sterilize it easily.However it has a two washers sealing the spout to the container.I Disassemble it, drop the metal parts in boiling water and soak the washers in vinegar after use.Which is more work that with the plastic pots.

I've been using this for a week. I'm not new to Neti Pots. From the Neil med plastic squeeze bottles at Cosctco to clay traditional versions. This is the best! Also, I'd like to give kudos to the vendor for quick arrival time. This Neti pot has been my best investment & won't go back to inferior ones easily. Here's why:1. Stainless Steel construction is sanitary & easy to keep clean (or sterile even)2. Finally, it holds enough water to really do the job (then again, I have a big schnoz- er, nose).3. Much easier to handle.4. Tip insertion makes it easier to target different areas inside of nose (did I mention I have a larger nose?Here's my tried & true method:Bathroom stored with weeks worth of good clean (sterile or distilled good, too) water in bottles.Never use tap water for this! There are things in tap water you do not want to use in Neti Pots. Look it up on the web.Have a little plug in water heater (heats a cup of water in seconds.I fill Neti Pot with water, warm it up in pot and add Himalayan salt & pinch of baking soda. Or use saline packets.Stir it all together.Neti pot use comes with directions & nicely packaged.This is your vendor, this is your pot.Looks great, too!

The metal parts of the pot seem well made. What isn't mentioned is that the spout is actually bolted into a hole in the pot. There's a silicone washer on the inside and outside that prevents leaking. Of course, being silicone if you tighten the bolt too much in order to make sure the spout is well anchored the washers deform terribly. A close inspection of the washers shows that they appear to have been cut by hand out of a sheet of silicone. They have rough edges and aren't quite circular. They do prevent leakage although they aren't particularly esthetic. One last point that should be made is that because the spout bolts on it protrudes a bit into the interior of the pot. That means that it's impossible for all the water to drain out of the pot through the spout. There will always be a bit of waste.

Stainless Steel Neti potThis neti pot is really great! I like the fact that I can run it through the dishwasher when I need to. Because there is no handle, I was not sure if it would be difficult to hold,but it is not. The spout fits easily in the nostril and makes the procedure quicker.This product came quicky and was exactly what I had in mind. I have found it less time consuming to look for hard to find items on Amazon. I read reviews and can order almost anything to the specifications needed and save time not having to go from store to store.

Arrived in good shape. I wanted stainless steel as no breakage and its easy to clean. Goodbye pollen, dirt, bacteria. Comes with easy, thorough instructions.
