NIR Technology - How one lens is changing the way you see the World... Dillon Optics' patented NIR lens technology is radically different. Using a polarized diffuse reflector inside the lens, it reduces the internal reflections allowing for a noticeably sharper clarity. The NIR lens oleophobic coating on the front and back resists moisture, makes cleaning easier and gives the lens its unique satin finish appearance.

Not worth the high price
Scratched, scuffed, lenses keep popping out. At that price point there was an expectation they wouldn't behave like any other glasses 1/4 the cost. Shame on me.

nice
Bought a prescription pair (progressive) and the prescription didn’t turn out as clear as my Maui Jim’s. However, they look terrifically cool and routinely get comments from everyone. Recommend them if you want that very unique foggy look.

Pricey but worth it.
I’ve had these for a while now. They’re great. Excellent glasses, well made, fit great and after a year plus still solid glasses. Would have rated them 5 star except for one thing. I ride motorcycles and over 40 MPH they’re useless. So much wind that tearing is a real problem. But, otherwise great sunglasses. So, if you don’t ride they’re 5 Star.

DO NOT CLEAN THEM OR THEY'LL SCRATCH
Excellent lenses. Just plan on new ones every few months. The coating is incredibly soft. I like how they say to wash them with water. Out of warranty so maybe they degrade in drawer for 2 years.Given to me as a gift, I was hesitant to give up my Maui Jim's(I've had 10 pairs in 20 years and still wear 3 of them). When I started to wear them, they were a breath of fresh air. 2 weeks in, the fine scratches started. If you cannot clean your glasses with anything but water, I would advertise them as "disposable ".Cool new lens concept guys, but I'm going back to Maui Jim.

Lenses don’t last
The fit was awesome ...The lenses have the cool factor. I work outside long periods of time , sweat on these lenses it’s horrible to clean , if you’re eyelashes touch horrible to clean , you clean them there toast.

This company does not stand behind their product
For the price you are better off buying Smiths or Oakley. The technology is nice but so disappointed that Dillon Optics doesn't stand behind their product. Purchased a fantastic pair of glasses less than a year ago. Only worn intermittently and babied the entire time. The coating has begun to degrade. Admitted that they know the coating can wear off sometimes but that is not covered by warranty. Better to spend your money with a company that stands behind their products.

Excellent quality and craftsmanship.
This is my third pair of Dillon Optics and I can't say enough about the quality and craftsmanship of these sunglasses. I love the unique look of the matte lenses and I constantly receive compliments about them. Customer service is second to none and I've always gotten a quick response when I contacted them with questions. I am hoping they come out with a line that includes colored frames, particularly white frames as I would def be a buyer for those. Although they are quite pricey for a pair of sunglasses, I believe it is well worth it.
