Jun porcelain is produced in Yuzhou city, Henan province in central China. It is the earliest high temperature "kiln effects" porcelain in the world. Jun porcelain appeared initially in Tang Dynasty (618-907), saw a peak in Song Dynasty (960-1279), and ran downside in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Especially in Song Dynasty, Jun porcelain with its unique appearance of cuprum red glaze, was endorsed by emperor of Song Dynasty Huizong (1101-1119) as emperors' articles consumption, then the Jun kiln became one of the most famous five Chinese official kilns.
