Cheap plastic- Get what you pay for
Cheap flimsy plastic. You get what you pay for. If you are making something to be used once like a Halloween prop or something then these would work. Continuous on/off and opening the lid wont last long.

Works with one 3 volt battery too.
I needed a holder for one 3 volt battery to repair my welding auto dimming helmet. After reading some reviews this holder will work with just one battery , I was going to modify it to work with one 3 volt anyways. I just soldered this in in parallel with the 3 volt rechargeable battery that the helmet came with. Works great so far, I may even solder another one in to the first holder to up the capacity all the while staying at 3 volts. These are a bit flimsy but work great and have the on off switch , just double sided taped it to the inside on the helmet.

wire them up, add battery and your back running again
got these a long time ago, finally got around to using them. wire them of and install a battery, they work great. the long leads on the switch is also a good bonus. very happy

A fairly secure device.
The device has a micro on/off switch but nothing visible to determine power state. The clamshell case is a bit difficult to open but stays fairly secure. I was a bit surprised to see a double battery capacity
