Excellent one‑piece cleaning rod—smooth, strong, and perfect for rifle barrels
The Tipton Deluxe Cleaning Rod is exactly what I want in a rifle cleaning rod. The single‑piece design is sturdy and straight, and the 36" length is perfect for cleaning .27–.45 caliber rifles without feeling cramped. What really stands out is the smooth ball‑bearing handle. It spins effortlessly, allowing the rod to follow the rifling naturally, which makes cleaning faster and more effective. It feels like a premium tool in every way.Tipton has always been near the top when it comes to firearm cleaning products, and this rod is another great example of why.

The length you need when running longer barrels
Good quality rod that works well. Smooth rotation through the barrel and brass transition is smooth and even. Longer version is GREAT for working a longer barrel. Don't ram my hand into the buttstock all the time anymore. Wish I would have known about this sooner. I'd never have bought the 36".

Works well
A nice cleaning rod

.17-.20 is good for cleaning a .22 pellet rifle.
A great cleaning rod. The tube needs to be a little shorter or have packing in it as the end protection cap came off and allowed the threaded end to punch a hole through the rubber cap during delivery.

Great If You Are Paranoid About Cleaning Your Rifle Barrels
The greatest concern with cleaning any rifle barrel is the potential for nicking/scratching the muzzle end of the barrel when inserting/removing a cleaning rod. Cleaning rods come in several materials - steel, brass, aluminum and carbon fiber. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. The Tipton 36" carbon fiber rod is a quality product. Carbon fiber is light, strong, flexible and does not scratch. In this instance, it is a one piece rod so there is no need to screw sections together as with most other rods. (You will receive it in a shipping tube). It has a threaded brass transition section 1.5" long at the business end for attaching jags, loops & bore brushes. The handle is long and sculptured, much like an ergonomic screw driver. The rod is free to turn in the handle because it's mounted in bearings. This handle has its advantages & disadvantages. It allows the cleaning patch/bore brush to follow the barrel's rifling, but it makes the whole rod very top heavy. There is also no two fingered hook, which is typical of most rods, to facilitate removal by pulling out of the barrel. Screw driver style handles are good for pushing down, they are not as good for pulling back. In my opinion, the rod is too long for its intended use (22 caliber). Most 22 rifle barrels are 16"-23" long. This is one long rod (42" end to end) and if you don't have the arm length to hold the handle while inserting the rod into the muzzle or breech, it becomes awkward. Recall that I stated the handle makes the rod very top (handle) heavy. If you don't hold the rod by the handle, it becomes a dead weight and makes placing the tip in the muzzle more difficult. The same for pulling it out, If your arm length isn't long enough it's difficult to hold the handle and the rifle at the same time while pulling, unless you have secured the rifle to a bench rest/vise.

Safe to use on gun barrels.
Well made. Won't damage rifle or gun barrel.

I won't use any other rod.
I have a few Tipton rods. Handgun length, one for small caliber like 17-22, and a larger rod for all over rifle calibers. Never had an issue, not a bad thing to say. Carbon fiber doesn't damage anything, nor does it get embedded with potentially abrasive debris. Once I bought my first Tipton rod, I threw away all the brass screw together rods I had.

Buenas sensaciones
De momento la he usado dos veces solo, pero da la sensación de resistencia y robustez, ademas al ser en una sola pieza evitas el roce en el cañon de las juntas de las que van engarzadas
