I wasn't sure what to expect when I placed the order because pictures don't really tell the story when buying something I've never seen before but I was hoping this was of good quality. Much to my surprise, this book is so lovely and completely keeps with the period in which these Jane Austen stories were written. The blue, gold and white filigree flower book cover design is actually breath taking when first seeing it up close and in person. The gold leaf around the pages is stunning and very well done. In its leather binding it's hard to imagine this book only costing $25.00 for seven whole novels. And of course, the writing, well....that goes without saying. This book would be a beautiful and thoughtful gift for anyone who enjoys period/historical novels-romances and especially for anyone who hasn't ever read Jane Austen before. It's a grand buy at the price, a real deal if you ask me and I will order it again and again to give as gifts to my friends and family who love to read and love to have a beautiful book on their shelf.

I searched and searched for the perfect Jane Austen collection. Knowing that the entire collection in one was going to make for a very thick book, I wanted something of high quality that would stand the test of time. I was beyond thrilled when I opened this book. It is easily the most gorgeous book in my collection. Stunningly beautiful cover. Great page quality and comfortable text. This book is built to last. I absolutely adore it.

The golden edged pages are so pretty and compliment the baby blue and gold cover! This is a very thick book and the print is somewhat small but to be expected since it is so thick. I only wish it had at least a few illustrations, at least at the beginning of each novel. So classic and elegant looking!

If you love Jane Austen, what could be better than a complete all-in-one set of her major works? The gold-embossed pages are lovely, the writing is witty and wonderful, and the book includes all of Austen's novels except for her unfinished work "Sanditon," but it does include "Lady Susan," which is shorter than a novel but longer than a short story. Time to put on your slippers, make a mug of hot tea, and gather around the box of bonbons for a good ol' (that is, Regency) time.

First off, the book has some weird brown, crusty spots on some of the pages, I'm afraid to even touch it, who knows what the hell that is. And the binding is fragile and almost detached. This doesn't seem like a "new" book, but used. There's also some bent, and stuck together pages. Other than that, this is my first time reading Jane Austen, so I'm sure the stories will be good. I'm surprised how thick this book is. It's really huge, and the cover and gold edged pages are beautiful! The font is a little small but not as bad as I feared from the reviews.I don't think I'll waste my time returning this over some imperfections. Besides, I like books with a little "character."

I purchased this for my sister's birthday; as she is a huge fan, but did not actually own any of her writings. She would always borrow my copies. She was thrilled! Her favorite is Northanger Abbey and that is where she has started. I tought the book would include some sketches from the original edditions, but it doesn't. However, I do not beleive this detracts from the book. The cover is gorgeous. I will probably buy one for myself, if no one gets it for my own birthday.

the book is like a bible with gold trim pages, a ribbon bookmark and a well-presented color cover and am very happy with my book. The price is agreeable, no complaints. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors.

Book came quickly. Loving it so far. I would buy from this seller again.
