I have used the same tape before to improve the fit on some inexpensive hats bought from Amazon, and it worked well. On this occasion, I got a beautiful Harris Tweed hat, brand new, from a charity shop for a real bargain price. It just needed a lttle adjustment to make sure it fitted snugly enough to be secure in windy Edinburgh weather, and to stay at the right angle. I couldn't find the remainder of the tape I ordered before (no doubt it will turn up now) and so I confidently ordered another pack. As before, the tape is really to use. Just peel back the backing tape and stick as many pieces as you need inside the hat, pressing it on firmly with finger pressure. I only needed two little strips of tape to get this hat fitting comfortably and looking great. I expect to find the missing pack now!

I was issued with a hat I needed to wear for work, but unfortunately it was a little big and would slide off. Rather than go through the complicated process of getting a new size, I decided to see if I could get it to fit. The result was fantastic, as this product allowed me to gain a tighter fit. The stickiness of the product is good, and it is nice that there is a multitude of different thicknesses, so you can achieve that perfect fit. I ended up using three of the white strips, so have plenty spare! Whilst the product seems good quality and is what I needed, I do feel that it was a little expensive considering. At the time of this review, the product was £9.99, which for some sticky pieces of foam, is quite expensive. Summary: Seems like a good quality product and works well, but fairly expensive for what it is.

Excellent value for money, slots neatly under the hat band, good adhesive and all my hats can now fit perfectly.

All the hat bands are the same. They are alright to pack out a stiff solid item like a bicycle helmet but not flexible enough to keep the rim of a soft hat material in its correct position. Also there is no grip between the pads added and your hair. A kitchen sponge would work better.

Do you know, these worked a lot better than I thought they would. They have rendered two previously unwearable hats wearable. One one of the hats I had to use double thickness and to my surprise they worked just as well. The hats are comfortable and unless you really look, you can't see the pads. I have worn the hats a few times and no sign of them coming off. The price for a few bits of sticky foam though.

Mit diesem Band konnte ich meinen Filzhut wunderbar passend machen. Außerdem hält das Band gut und der Hut passt sich bei diesem Material besondsers gut an. Eine gute Lösung!

I found this product to be of the best quality that suited my needs and saved me from thowing an expensive hat in the rubbish. Highly recommended.
