KB1252 USMC Short Serrated W/Leather Sheath

Great gift from hubby! Fits in my purse and is very sharp.

When I open this knife I fell in love with it! Outta the box it was sharp enough to shave off the hair on my arms. It will glide through cardboard and bags and paracord with ease. The serrations look dull,but after cutting my finger on it I can say its pretty sharp. This is not a huge knife,but it's not suppose to be. This is great because in Texas I can carry this knife legally.(A knife blade cannot be longer than 5.5 inches in Texas. This blade is 5.25 inches) The leather sheath is alright but it's not the best sheath ever. It may show wear where the handguard rests in the sheath but no big deal.This is a very good knife! You can't go wrong with Ka-bar.

Just thought it was too short and small I wanted the full size that the shorter blade I guess I didn't read it good enough at the same price I think the small fighting version of the knife is a little party for 95

This knife is a great tool I purchased it as a self defense knife for hiking (NJ cant conceal carry guns) in case I would run into anything where I am on the menu for dinner. As it turns out this knife is also great for survival use. I have done a ton of bush crafting with this knife and it stands up to some of my better survival knives. I would highly recommend this knife for survival or maybe just to keep on you when hiking. The only knife it doesnt compare to that i own is the ESEE 6. My only complaint is the sheath, I sometimes feel like a poser walking around with USMC and the logo on my belt. Other than that its amazing and I would recommend it.

This is a great knife. Obviously it is smaller than a regular KA-BAR; however, this knife is super sharp right out of the box and is a great size to carry in your pack or on your belt. While the knife is well-made and top quality, the sheath leaves something to be desired (it actually is a little on the cheap side). Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Replaced original from 1967, looks to be identical. Original sheath did not have markings, but everything else good copy.

I bought this knife for as a Christmas present. When I opened it up to see how nice it was I was impressed. It just the right size to take camping. I love the leather handle. It's also sharp out of the box also love that it is serrated. All in all I would recommend this knife to anyone that needs a fixed bladed knife for camping.

I have this knife on me where ever I go. It's the perfect knife for anyone that likes to edc a fixed blade. Would definitely by another but I don't see this knife breaking on me.
