My car has hard plastic textured plastic for the whole ...
My car has hard plastic textured plastic for the whole dash. It's illegal to windshield-mount anything in my state, so you have to mount on the dash (unless you want to give the police an excuse to write you another ticket). None of the mounts I tried would stick to the dash, but by using this, I've had a dashcam mounted for two months and no problems.

Perfect solution to crappy factory mounts
Awesome! Used to stick a dash camera on my windshield near the rear view mirror. Factory suction cup wouldn't stick to the textured black dots around the mirrow and would fall off when the car sat in the sun. Now it hasn't come off once. These are very tacky, almost like those sticky hands kids get out of gum ball machines. Just stick this on the factory suction cup and make sure it's sealed to the cup by pressing out any air bubbles. Then stick on your surface and use as you would your factory suction cup.

So far so good.
So far -so good but let's see how it holds the S. California summer heat. Detail, which is not explained either in item description or on the packaging: you should remove the transparent sacrifice film on both side of disc. First -one side and attach it to the suction cup with other film facing out (you would need to press it around the cup so don't remove other side). When done, carefully remove the second film and than follow instructions (press and release).I think it's the 3M Urethane elastomer, often used as a double-side adhesive tape. It's easy stretchable so be careful removing sacrifice films.

Don't make the mistake I did - do remove the hard, protective covering!
This thing works great - it's very soft and sticky, and my gps mount seems to be sticking very well to its base.I will say I was initially disappointed - it appeared to be a piece of hard plastic that did not work at all. It was only after reading the instructions on the packaging of the large rectangular "bonus" sheet that I realized the hard plastic was just a protective shield on both sides of the actual product. It was a little hard to remove, actually - the inner, working layer is VERY soft, and I stretched it out of shape a little while separating the layers. But that inner layer - the real product - made the suction cup stick like glue.So - a little more info in the package would be great for the slow learners like me :-)

Perfect for mounting dashcam in the textured area of the windshield
I needed this to mount my dashcam in the windshield of the car. The dashcam's stock suction cup wouldn't hold in the textured/shaded area around the rear view mirror. This suction cup buddy did the trick!!

Warning with dashboard installation!
Very good suction but do not install on vinyl dashboards. It will ruin your car when removed after few days. Sticky part damages vinyl by stretching it and leaving shiny ring where in contact with dashboard. There is no way to remove damage at all. I've tried everything and it didn't clear the damage. It might be OK on hard surfaces but not the vinyl parts.

So far they are doing great....not anymore!
Needed for two gps unit that wouldn't stick anymore. So far they are doing great. After two weeks both mine and my wife's failed and there was NO way to recover from the failure. They were little balls of "snot". Went with a weighted base instead. I do not recommend these.

These things work Great!
Mr stickee pads work great! I used them to adhere my arkon mounts to dash pads. Previously the mounting always came loose whenever the weather changed temperatures. The mounts have not come off their pads from single digit temps to above 70 degrees. Success at last!

So far so good
Just applied it today. Very good stick so far. Will update this in a few months if it's still holding well, or will update quickly if it fails early.I felt stupid when it took me 5 minutes to figure out you have to peel off the plastic top and bottom sheets before applying.Fits the standard suction cup that comes with most dash cams, the G1WH in my case.

Didn't work for me...
This seems pretty simple but I couldn't make them stick at all to anything. I was hoping to use these to increase adhesion between my flat & smooth plastic dash to a Garmin GPS suction mount. There's only a single line of instructions so although I followed them closely - they did not work for me.

Try something else.
Tried to stick a light (a very light light)to vinyl siding. Would not hold. Cleaned area with alchohal as instructed but did not stick or hold for any length of time.

Sticks as advertised
difficult to get the sticky off the window even when I want it off

Perfect!
Actually works better than we expected. Reasonable price and lots there. Solved our problem of over priced GPS mounting discs that let go.
