What fittings can be used for this?

Even though it says 1/2" I used 3/8 fittings on this tubing

can this be used for propane undergound?

I'm not sure about underground? I used mine to go under my camp, laying on top of the ground.

What is the temperature range?

My propane line is on top of the ground in central New York. I would say in temperatures from -30 to + 100 degrees F.
