Cute story and lovely pictures!
What a charming book! A cute story that allows for toddler discussions on food and manners. Works terrific as a nighttime story as well, ending in "Goodnight". Illustrations are absolutely lovely! A sure favorite of my two year old daughter.

A Fun Read!
If you’re a 'kid' who’s ever tried to get out of eating your peas, you will love There’s a Mouse on My Head. A boy uses his toy mouse and his imagination to try to get out of eating his peas, as well as his bread and cheese, at dinner. But when Grandma agrees, she also includes his cherry pie! Sister gets into the act, and things get a bit out of hand until Grandma decides that it’s bedtime for mouse. There’s a Mouse on My Head is written in beautiful rhyme with a playful rhythm. Delightful illustrations add another dimension to the story with the cat in the background.

A wonderful read!
A wonderful read! The story, rhyme, and illustrations come together to make a truly entertaining, enjoyable read. I just love the story and the illustrations. I can't stress this enough. The illustrations really captured the story and gave it another dimension. Children will most certainly love this book, as will parents reading it to their children. I can envision this book as a staple in households that have family story time. I will spark some great conversations about dinner, nutrition, and the importance of eating your peas!***I received a free book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.***

Sure to please your little ones.
Delightful story young children are sure to enjoy. The creative mind of a little boy makes him think he has found the perfect way to avoid eating various foods on his dinner plate, that is until grandma arrives. Grandma has a little trick up her sleeve. You will have fun reading this to your little ones. It will be especially fun for a grandma to read it to her young grand children. It reads like a rhyming poem and the illustrations are wonderful.
