Does exactly what I expected, although no information on life time yet.
Arrived quickly. Although nothing I read says "wow, these take quite a while to warm up", but then I knew the principle of operation, and that is part and parcel of this design, so it's as expected. These SHOULD last a very long time. Although these bulbs turned up in a search for "oven light", they should not be used in ovens, and I don't think they'd even fit. A "feature" of amazon.com. I don't know why these weren't popular 50 years ago, maybe because the high frequency circuit would have cost 5$ if made by Americans? Regardless, they're here now, and be sure you dispose of them where you dispose of fluorescent bulbs, provided you're disposing of them specifically not in a land fill. The mercury can be recovered and reused and not leach into ground water. Seems like a good idea.

Meh.
We bought a 6 pack of 60w finally bulbs last month, I thought I'd chime in with my very unscientific review.I obviously can't weigh in on the longevity of the bulbs, but I will say that only 5 of the 6 bulbs we received worked from day 1. Frustrating and annoying to say the least. In addition some of the others had suspicious rattling noises but seem to be functioning as expected. Before you assume we received a roughly handled batch, both the shipping box, and the individual product packaging was undamaged. The light quality is ok, definitely has a warm/pink cast as mentioned in other reviews, which I was aware of going in. We decided to buy these because we believe in investing in quality items and buying once instead of buying cheaper options over and over. I'm not satisfied that these bulbs are quality, versus just over priced and a gimmick. I suppose time will tell.

I recommend these bulbs
I'm very happy with these bulbs. We have several light fixtures in which the bulb only barely fits, and we have bought so many LED bulbs that didn't fit. I tried these after reading a statement that suggested they weren't any bigger than incandescent bulbs, and to my delight they aren't. They may even be a bit smaller. They work in our fixtures, making my partner very happy because he won't have to climb up and fool with light bulbs every 2 months! The light is very nice as well. I like it better than the incandescent bulbs we have used. Check with me in 10 years and I'll tell you whether they lasted that long.

Healthy light
The finally light bulb is a full spectrum light with 60 some percent less blue light. This light does NOT over stimulate your brain, and when you go to bed at night after having the light on, it's easy to go to sleep. It also use is electromagnetic induction and so the light is very expensive to operate. Fuel operated 24 hours a day for a whole year will cost you less than $15 electricity. They say that if you have it on 3 hours a day for one year at cost a $1.77.

Cost efficient and give off a nice glow!
Love them, they start low and get brighter as minutes go by. Not good reading lights but great ambiance lighting.

the diff between 60 and 75w equivalent versions is huge ...
the diff between 60 and 75w equivalent versions is huge - the 60w never really gets lift off, and the light remians dim and inconvincing.75w is a min for LED bulbs....

Warm white glow
The color is more of a slight yellowish color. Turns most rooms charming as I love the color hue. Not sure how it would work in a grey and white contemporary setting. However in a setting with gold it would be ok. I love Tesla technology

This is a different kind of CFT, nothing more.
This showed up under LED bulbs for some reason. This is not an LED bulb. It has some of the same color characteristics and dim start issues of a CFT.
