Itchy scalp
I am not sure if this book should be given 3 or 4 stars. The recipes and dietary advice, as well as brushing techniques make it four star. The unfinished thyme recipe. The difficulty of finding at least half of the ingredients, if not impossibility, in rural Ireland plus the rather abrupt ending is somewhat irritating so 3 stars feels appropriate. This short book is very explicit about the types of scalp conditions, hair conditions and general health issues that may cause or contribute to dry scalp and/or poor hair condition. It is clear on some treatments (many home made which is helpful) storage of treatments, exact methods of applications and dietary advice. It outlines a few short fasts or limited diets to speed processes of healing. It is a good book to keep on hand to try several self-help methods and, many of these are things I have to hand. I will try it for my long hair which does need regular conditioning and, for my other half' s dry skin which can cause flakiness. It is worth reading and, at the very least, I recognise most of the ingredients and know them to be natural and beneficial.

Great Information about the condition and how to treat it.
I was desperate for change and decided to give this a try after having no luck clearing up my itchy scalp with my doctor. I found more details about what could be causing my condition by reading this. I eliminated some of the causes I believed to be the culprit after reading this, which helped. The recipes have helped keep the itch away, too.
