Audioscore Ultimate 7 works great - Photoscore Ultimate 7 is DOA on Mac OSX Mavericks - FiXED!
Under Apple Macintosh OS X 10.9 Mavericks:AudioScore Ultimate 7 works as advertised - transcribing audio tracks as best it can. You still need to take time to tweak the transcription inside of AVID Sibelius 7 to get what you need - but it saves a lot of time if your live perfomance includes improvisations that are brand new.OLD PROBLEM: PhotoScore Ultimate 7 DOES not work at all. DVD and web site download software is also currently defective as of December 2013,because the installation package is linked to a non-existent debugged PDFtron link library in a non-existent developer directory.Bad News? Both PhotoScore Lite 7 and PhotoScore Demo 7 are also dead on arrival.FIX? It turns out that the update installation of Mac OS X Mavericks will set the UNIX directory folder "/usr/local/lib" to "No Access" for Everyone. The installation process does this to ensure that Mavericks will boot correctly after the update - by ignoring any user installed software libraries.Setting "/usr/local/lib" folder to Everyone "Read Only" fixes the problem - and allows the PDFtron link library to load. You can do this from the Macintosh Finder by using the "Go To Folder" drop down menu command.Thanks goes out to Neuratron support for figuring out the problem and providing the Fix.Now enjoying PhotoScore Ultimate v7.0.2.1 on Mac OS X Mavericks!
