nice reach
I purchased these bits to use in my leatherman wave mt. The bit kit / bits that come with the wave do not give much reach. The two most commonly used bits (for me) are the phillips and flat drivers so this kit worked out great. Also this is the only way Ive found to replace the "standard" bits that come with your wave. Perfect for Leatherman Skeleton
Got these as replacements for Leatherman Skeleton. I lost original bits do to the way in which I open the pliers...a slight and very rare Leatherman design flaw. These are longer than the originals, which I didn't like at first, but discovered it was to my benefit. I can use the bits without opening it, meaning less chance of pressing the release button. 6 weeks and haven't lost them! Also, it gives you that extension so the tool itself doesn't interfere.

Probably never use the larger bit
Very happy with the replacement bits. Although I’ll never use the longer one. Just not feasible for my applications. All I really needed was the small one to replace the one I lost. The one that originally came with my tool would lock in place like it’s designed to do. That’s why I lost it. This one locks in place just fine so far. The larger bit does not. Hit or miss I guess with the locking groove cut in the bit. Over all happy with the purchase I just wish they would sell only the part you actually need instead of having to purchase 2 bits just to get 1.

The extend bits don’t fit when you want to collapse
It was an exact replacement for my lost pieces. The 2 extended bits make it more of all in one tool!

Thought this would fit my wave. these a 1/4 wide vs 3/16 wave bits. have not modified them to fit yet but should not be too hard.
