Decent for the price
This scanner works great for very small scan jobs. I bought it because of its ability to scan double-sided, but realized after purchase that only ID cards can be scanned double sided...not full-size paper. I was also disappointed with how the duplex with the ID card functioned -- instead of putting both sides of the image on one page, each side of the card is scanned to a separate page.I use this scanner if I have a single piece of paper I need to quickly get into the computer, but other than that, I'd rather walk down the hall to the bigger/better scanner, that can handle multiple pages at once and duplex.

We use many of them in an environment where they are used to scan dozens of documents a day and have had only one fail in over a year that we have been using them.

Purchased product before used throughout office by the clinic staff and this seems to be an ongoing product desired. Used at three clinic locations.

Never use my all-in-one
If you scan a lot, or even a little - you need this...period. You'll get the quality of a high end scanner, but it's mobile, it's the best scanner all around that I've ever used. I love the fact that you can easily carry it around, but it's FineReader Technology makes such great quality scans and it's super fast. USB makes it very easy to just plugin, make a scan, and put it back in your bag, no more having a clunky scanner on your desk. I can't say enough good things about this little scanner that packs a big punch. Just as the box says, it's perfect in the office, on the road, or at home because it can literally replace the other scanners you may have.I also love the fact that it's super easy to scan non 8.5x11 pieces of paper. Business cards, reciepts, IDs, no more trying to figure out where to place it, just slide it through and done. It comes with the Presto! BizCard Reader that works nicely with NewSoft PageManager specifically for this purpose and like everything else, works perfectly.This is not just a great scanner, it's a great piece of technology.This is a social writeup
