The oldest child is learning how to cook and the hot handle stresses me out. I can deal with it, but I don't need a pan handle to be the "cooking gets things hot" lesson.

Took me about 5 times picking up the hot handle to get motivated to buy this. Fits the small pan perfectly, and the burns are healing nicely.

I bought this sleeve for my small Lodge cast iron pan. The handle fits a little loose despite stating it is compatible with my pan model number. That has been the only drawback. It gets the job done however. I would buy this product again.

I bought this and the larger one to try on my new 9" Lodge pan. I also have an older 6" pan. Although this fits the 9" snugly, it's very hard to slip on and off when the pan is hot. It's perfect for my 6" so am keeping and loving it. It does get a bit hot so don't put it in the oven, rather slip it on to remove the pan from the oven.

I’ve had this product for over a year and I don’t like the slipperiness of this product. It also has not held up. I have not put it in the dishwasher nor do I use it weekly but it is ripping at the end of the handle. The size is ok and it is heat resistant but it slips when you grab it unless you are squeezing it tight when you grab it. Please be careful! Would not buy again.

I purchased a life-changing blue carbon steel wok a couple of months ago. It has the steel handle and I wanted to pad-heat protect it (though I had not actually had a problem with overheating it-just wanted it more comfortable and safe). I could not find one that was slim enough and not junk to fit this handle until this one and it's great. I would have gone for it to be a bit longer but they were all too fat and as I've gotten used to this I love it.

This red silicone handle fits well on my Lodge 8" Cast Iron Skillet. I also have the slightly larger red silicone handle for my Lodge 10.25" cast iron skillet. They work fine to protect against burns; however, never put them into an oven or they will melt and cause a toxic mess. Use oven mitts when using cast iron in ovens. These red silicone handles work well to protect when doing stove top cooking.

The media could not be loaded. Funciona muito bem em minha frigideira lodge de 6 e 1/2 polegadas. Só não pode deixar no fogo direto pq se não acaba queimando um pouco o silicone.
