It really trained my puppy and in a humane way.
I was having trouble with my pup jumping up on people. I went to the brilliant local trainer at Pett Smart. He suggested this type of system.I checked out YouTube and saw there was the spray type and an electrical shock type. The shock type went from 1 to 100. The video I saw was a very large dog and the trainer set it to shock level 2. If 2 is all that was needed for a large dog, what was the 100 for? I wanted to stop her from jumping up on people, not have her spasming on the ground. It has two beeps, one soft, one a bit louder. These worked great for almost everything except the jumping up, such as when I asked her to come. Sometime she would sometimes she wouldn't. Pressing the soft beep it sort of reminded her I wanted her to come. The spray took care of the jumping up on people in short order. I don't have to use it anymore. The only criticism I have is the remote control. It works fine but it is easy to inadvertently press a button. If I put the remote in my coat pocket, put my hand in to take it out, I may beep or spray her.So I have to be careful positioning the remote. Outside of that, it works great!

Doesnât stay in place and your dog will chew through it in seconds
Do not waste your money on this collar. I rarely write reviews, thatâs how mad I am that I wasted my money on this product. It worked when it was on her and stayed in place. The problem, however, is threefold. 1. It doesnât stay in place. I would put it on my dog and an hour later it would be hanging loosely around her neck or off completely - at which point it is completely ineffective. There were days I had to adjust it literally every 10 minutes. 2. The collar is made of the cheapest material that any dog can - and my dog did - chew through through in seconds (see pic). Because itâs so loose (see issue #1) this is an inevitability with any dog that doesnât like the collar, which, of course, they donât. 3. The Citronella needs to be filled daily. DAILY. People work. We have kids. And our dogs HATE these collars. So I have to refill it and then chase my dog around to put it back on her everyday to keep her barking under control? My dog HATED me for two weeks because she began to associate me completely with the collar. I was already unhappy because of #1 and #3, but they led to #2 and now Iâm out a ridiculous amount of money for something that only worked for an hour or so a day of the two weeks I used it with her. Save your money and go with a company that uses a durable material for the collar itself that a dog canât chew through.

Decent, until not
Worked decently well for a little over a year. My main complaint was that the microphone wasn't as sensitive as needed (wouldn't always go off when barking). It would then also beep at inappropriate times -- like when my dog was dreaming and making soft yelps, rather than actually barking. All in all served as a decent deterrent. The collar has stopped spraying citronella (automatically & with the remote) despite being fully charged and full of citronella. I'm very disappointed that it stopped working shortly after 1 year, given the price.Tried to contact the Amazon seller and received an error message, despite providing the Amazon order number (We are sorry to let you know that your email to HORZING - Amazon Marketplace cannot be delivered because the order it is in regards to is either invalid or not between you and the recipient. Remote buttons
Works pretty well but I'm accidentally hitting the buttons on the remote way too often. I'm probably making my dog neurotic. I beeped it while lifting her into the car yesterday. A few weeks ago I was working under my car, rolling around, with the remote in my pocket. It's a great size. But when I came back in the house she was huddled in her kennel, looking pretty traumatized.Vanity won't let me wear a lanyard. Right now the remote's hanging from a belt loop on a carabiner. I don't always have belt loops on though.I don't think it's autocorrecting very well, or at all, when she's outside. When I correct with the citrus it always works but if it's not correcting by itself, I can't correct her consistently unless I stand by the front door every time she's outside. We have sidewalk in front of the house so she barks a lot.The citrus spray was new to me. It works better than any of the shock collars I've had. The remote is a nice size. It's easy to use. My main dislike was the remote because it's so easy to accidentally hit the buttons. If you don't know you've accidentally hit the Dog 2 button then you're not going to get any results with Dog 1, which is bad. You will likely have no idea what's happening to your dog if you happen to bump the other buttons. As a deterrent is great. It's nicely designed (aside from the remote issue). The remote and autocorrect are problems for me because of inconsistency in corrections.I lost a remote and bought another one, so it worked well enough to buy it again. It was the price, ease of use & all. Also not wanting to have to research anymore.
