RBC33 UPS Replacement Battery for APC By American Battery

Bought this for an old-school APC Smart-UPS 1000 (beige tower model that surprisingly still works). Works great! Battery life is about as expected running a gaming computer with an 850w power supply (when idling or web browsing, run time would appear to be 5-8 minutes).This is more than enough time for the computer to shut down if the power goes out for more than a couple of minutes, and enough to keep things running flawlessly in a brief dip or brownout or surge event.I almost exclusively buy my UPS batteries from ABC, as they offer the best service and warranty that I could ask for with regard to these products.

My brother was going to throw our his USB because it ceased to work, He gave it to me and I replaced the battery and hooked it up to my equipment. So far it has worked great. We are expecting stormy weather so maybe it will get a real test.

What's to say? It was a perfect drop-in to my UPS, no issues with size or fit. I looked at the manufacturer's website before purchasing, and I was impressed with their video showing they make the units in America - Massachusetts to be exact. However, after receiving the battery, I saw the components were manufactured elsewhere - only the assembly is done in Massachusetts.
