Does the trick. You need more than one pack of these to make a difference even in the smallest room. These are not magic. You need to consider placement, how much wall space you are treating in relation to the wall space, and other material in the room. It takes a lot of ANY type acoustic damping to change a room significantly. If you have hard floors, get a thick rug. If you have windows, get thick curtains. This isnt soundproofing. Its acoustical treatment.

I purchased these to dull the sound in a very noisy office at the corner of a busy intersection that I am using for counseling. I used command strips to stick them to the wall which worked very well. They are attractive and very good quality (dense but flexible) compared to others I've purchased. I am not sure how much they actually dull the noise on their own but I think they are a good addition to the other solutions I've put into place. My husband who plays the drums, said he was jealous that I got them for such a good price as he has paid more than five times the price to cover the same amount of space in his studio. I'm happy with the purchase and would buy them again.

Bought these for my son’s home studio. These work great for absorbing sound and preventing echo and bounce in the room. He’s getting a much better sound now!

I did not experience any acoustic benefit from this product. My hope was to soften the sound of my piano due to living in an apartment, and this item did not make a difference.

These are well made and look professional when installed. I choose this particular product because it was not shipped compressed. This means you can put them straight on the wall out of the box.
