nothing 'sounds fishy' here
only reason I gave this capo four stars instead of five, it's not because the capo is a bad product or does not work as advertised, is because I prefer to play utilizing all of the sounds that I can get from my guitar itself.that said, having a capo on hand is an excellent idea. that's why I bought this particular one as well. the price is fair, it's easy to clip on and take off of my guitar, it came with some picks... and having the option to change up the tonal quality of what I can produce on my guitar whenever the feeling strikes me I would guess would be the reason that anyone would want to buy a capo. I could be wrong. there could be people out there that only play their instrument using a capo. more power to them. I have used this capo three times since it arrived and it works great. no complaints.

Good bang for the buck.
The spring in the capo is a tad strong and could damage a guitar if left on for an extended period of time. With that said, it is strong enough to hold down the strings and has been my main capo for more than a year. I use to leave it attached the the head of my guitar but have been keeping it near the guitar after discovering the dent it had left. The picks were an added bonus and I still use them, they’re thicker picks so they aren’t really meant for strumming. Overall I like this product for what it is.

Using on Acoustic and Electric Guitar.
5 stars based on recent purchase. Just started using it. Being used on acoustic and electric 6-string guitars. Full squeeze on handle it opens up to 1-1/4 inch by 2-1/4 inch long stem that fits across the strings. Heavy duty chrome plated spring. There are so many variations of metal alloys that a manufacturing company can come up with that it would be unfair to guesstimate what metal alloy was use to cast this metal. However, it appears that it dipped in a clear anodizing to make a long durable clear/shiny finish. This dipping process prevents corrosion and fingerprint staining. Preserves the metal for many years. Thus far I would highly recommend this item. Easy on off the neck. No buzzing. No moving around to hit the right spot. Place on neck and it is good to go. I have no regrets. I like the picks that came with it. They are not the fine flimsy type. They are the smooth grip type. I was expecting to throw them in the trash. Nope! There keepers, I'm using them.

VERY pleased
I was(am) very pleased with this capo. No string buzzing, the spring is strong, doesn't slide around, and it is a great size.(not one of those just-barely-fits kind of deals) Also, it was shipped promptly and was delivered within just a few days (and I used standard). It's a great product and I would most definitely re-purchase it.As a side note, I like the colors of the picks but they are rather stiff. But I guess if you like that sort of thing...(I was told I would get a spontaneous dance in a public location if I left a review. I expect it do be done ;)

Excellent Quality
I received my capo approximately two weeks ago and I love it. It works beautifully on two guitars (one steel string, one classical - both acoustic) and on a banjo. Some capos do produce a buzzing or are difficult to place on the necks of guitars, but I haven't had this happen wit this capo (which was a delightful surprise). Furthermore, I also find that some capos that work well on guitar, do not work well on banjos or other instruments - again, to my delight, this tool works well even on the banjo. I'm really satisfied with the purchase!

Capo review
I am a new guitar player and trying to use my other capo, my hand kept hitting it. This capo has the clamps in front, not in the way in the back. People looking at the front would see the less appealing side of the capo, but the person playing has much more room to play. I have put my other capo in the spare bag and intend to leave it there, this is my go to capo.

Nice Capo
Nice pistol grip. I like the length of the capo. Others I have are just long enough and I have to rest. It's a little strong on the spring but there is good leverage. The picks are very good! Just the type I like to use.

Perfect combo
Capo looks and feels of great quality. My teenage son uses it on his acoustic guitar. He says that it works perfectly. The guitar picks are a plus because my son could always use more. The picks are also of great quality.
