Pacific Blue - Season 1

I really liked Pacific Blue when it came out. Fun show. This review is for the two-disk first season DVD. The menus are simple, which is consistent form the that time period (mid-1990's). However, the quality is so bad it is barely watchable. The picture is grainy and fuzzy. It looks like an old VHS tape recorded in SLP. Twelve hours on two DVDs. I am not sure if i will return it. I only paid $6.00 for it. If you don't mind watching a terrible reproduction, then get it. Otherwise for it. A real shame.

This was a series that I had bought for my husband. He is a fan of the show. First caught it on satellite.

I watched the show when it first came out. It is a little cheesy but Marco Ferrarez is really hot.

About time they released these.. was a very good show that had drama and comedy in it... when are the other seasons being released. Item was as descibed, arrived fast, and was well packed. Would recommend it.

I loved Pacific Blue when it was on TV. I'd been wanting the DVD and the price was right. If you loved the show, now's the time to get it.

This product, Pacific Blue, is truly a masterpiece! YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT!!! Everything was perfect, and the estimated delivery date was very precice. Im looking forward to buy other seasons of these series! The only thing i miss is subtitles in norwegian. I contacted the seller, and just a few hours later i got an answer. These products were originally sony productions, he said, and that was the reason for that! I understand english perfectly, except some minor phrases, but it's not actually a big deal that the products are delivered without subtitles (except dutch). Amazing forgotten series love it

I bought this for my son who loves the series, and used to watch it on TV even if it was sent quite late in the evening - way past his bedtime. However, we don't understand dutch, so we hope there will be more subtitle languages in the future, f inst Norwegian :-)

This arrived this afternoon and I have just watched the pilot episode which sets up the characters nicely. I have a feeling when I saw this on British TV in the mid 90's it only had a short run and was never repeated. Such a shame as I find it a very enjoyable and entertaining series. I had no idea that so many episodes were made. Over 100 I think? i believe it was very popular in the Netherlands which may account for the Dutch subtitles..I intend to get as many episodes as i can. That should tell you how much I like Pacific Blue!! At around 45 mins per episode you get bike stunts, drama, comedy and a bit more besides. It won't be to everybody's taste but it is a pleasant way to pass the time.

La série est devenue très datée, dans son jeu d'acteurs notamment. Les décors sont corrects, tout comme les intrigues, mais l'image est tellement moche que le visionnage n'est guère du plaisir. Reste le son, plutôt correct.
