SweetLeaf Whole Leaf Stevia Concentrate, 2 Ounce

I use this as a supplement because I suffer from Lyme disease. It is not like the sweetener if that is what you are looking for. Not sweet at all. It does not taste great but I add it to other plant tinctures I am taking and it’s ok. I do think it is helpful as a supplement. It dark and gooey FYI.

I have been using this brand for at least 7 years, and have always purchased it locally. I saw it on Amazon at a much better price, thought I'll give it a try. Purchased 3 bottles, not one of the droppers worked. Also, the liquid was way thicker than normal. I had to go to the store and purchase another bottle just so I could get a dropper that would work. The taste is fine, but what a hassle. Would never buy from them again.

I've been using stevia for over a decade now and been a fan of the Sweetleaf line of products. I use their clear stevia drops where color and consistency are important like in teas. I've used this whole leaf in my protein shakes for years with no complaints. I think the whole leaf is nutritionally better than the clear in that it is less processed. On the other hand, I have since replaced using this product with Frontier's powdered stevia. The powder goes a long way when you buy it by the pound; you'll save money and it's even less processed. Overall, SweetLeaf whole leaf stevia is still a great product which I keep on hand when I need the convenience of drops over powder.***UPDATE*** Potassium sorbate? I don't believe that it was used in the original formulation. I don't know when the change occurred, but it's only the clear and powder for me now.

I ordered this thinking it would be like the other sweet drops liquids. It is dark brown, thick like molasses and has a smokey flavor. Not my thing but maybe someone else will love it.

This product does have a molasses like flavor. I use it every morning in my latte. The flavor blends well so I can't taste it. It is not as sweet so I do use more than a more refined product. I keep both on hand. This one for coffee and a less refined for tea.Edit: I too have recently received product that was thick and gummy. Not sure if it came from the factory that way or if it had been sitting too long. I did however find a solution if you get a sticky one. Heat a coffee cup of water in the microwave for 60 seconds,and then with the top loose, place stevia bottle in and let sit for 5 minutes. Remove. Replace top. Shake. Reheat the just the water for 90 seconds and put the bottle back in the water for another 5 minutes. Replace the top and shake again. All should be normal.

This is my favorite Stevia! I have tried several liquid and powdered. This one leaves no aftertaste in my hot tea. I use it daily and have used it for over a year, re-ordering as needed. I love that it is alcohol-free...many liquid stevia extracts have alcohol or glycerin in the extract. This is only stevia leaves and water, with potassium sorbate as a preservative. It is dark...this doesn't bother me...but I know that some don't like how it changes the color of whatever it is added to.

I ordered 2 bottles of this SweetLeaf Whole Leaf Stevia Concentrate, which I use all the time, but this is the first time I have bought it through Amazon. It is not right, the liquid is thick and full of sediment. I managed to strain the first bottle and got maybe close to 1 oz of liquid I can use. I don't know what is wrong and haven't had any luck searching for answers on how to fix online. I'm assuming that since I ordered it 3 months ago I won't be able to return the stevia.

Please don’t give a “bad” review based on the color and taste of pure stevia. It’s a leaf that’s been crushed up. Other stevia has been colluded and refined. Pure stevia is spectacular for humans with a priority of health over the desire for their lemonade to be what they consider to be the correct color. Thank you SweetLeaf for offering this. I am grateful for the privilege of a healthy sweetener that allows me to avoid early death. If you don’t like your lemonade to be the color of a crushed up leaf, then buy sparkly white refined sugar and stock up on your diabetic supplies.
