Jump about with Run Like the River, and the brand new Angel City, California , while dancing with your loved one to Before the Teardrops. Was there ever a more poignant song to tug at the heartstrings than Another Man's Words?? Get it soon ,and enjoy every minute of the amazing music !!

Love, love, love this Vintage Trouble album! This album is soulful sweet music to make love by. From the ambitious "Strike Your Light" to the soulful " Another Man's Words" Ty and the Boys take us on one sweet ride. If I could give this album 10 stars I would .

Love, love, love this album! VT has really outdone themselves with this one! All of the songs are very upbeat and positive. They are even better when performed live. If you liked VT's first album, The Bomb Shelter Sessions, then you are sure to love this one!

Good songwriting,excellent musicianship and Ty Taylor sings his hiney off. However,the over all sound is muted,as if blankets covered the microphones. Had the pleasure of hearing/seeing Vintage Trouble in concert and so I was surprised that Don Was,who has perfectly produced CDs of this genre in the past, muted the energy of Vintage Trouble .

Great album. I never heard of the band until they appeared on a talk show, but they've been around a long time and the music has classic familiar feel.

If ever there were a band in need of a horn section, it would be Vintage Trouble. Singer Ty Taylor pays tribute to a lineage of Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, and James Brown. Live, he’s such a mesmerizing ball of energy that you never miss the brass. But on record, minus the visuals of Taylor’s twirls and splits, all you have are Taylor’s impassioned vocals, backed by a guitar-bass-drums trio – period. Yes, bassist Rick Barrio Dill and drummer Richard Danielson deliver a Wrecking Crew foundation. And while Nalle Colt has all the bluesy, Stax / Motown six-string figures down cold, his single guitar is just not enough to cover the missing backup singers and percussive horn stabs blasts that made soul history since the Sixties. The result, as is the case with too many acts with reputations for hot live shows, is that the CD sounds more like a demo than a full production. “Run like the River” may surf a white-hot slide-guitar wave, but it doesn’t quite reach the beach. “Strike Your Light” is pure James Brown, complete with syncopated, half-step breaks, but it’s peppered with holes where the horns would go. The songs are strong, the band is tight, but I kept fantasizing about pairing Vintage Trouble with the Tower of Power horn section. That would be one hopeful boulevard.

Listened to their first album and had to have this one as soon as it came out. Haven't been excited about an album since " Born to run".

You don't know what you are missing if you've never heard these guys. a mixture of classic rock, R&B with some James Brown thrown in for good measure..

If you know, you know!A great bunch of guys who exude talent, with a delectable flavour of memorable melodies. All delivered at a blistering and assured pace. If you haven't heard of Vintage Trouble, where have you been? If you haven't seem them live then, shame on you!

Bell'album con il mix di generi di cui sopra e, se avrete la possibilità di vederli live, non fate eli scappare!L'album è un po' più soul blues rispetto ai precedenti, ma sempre di qualità sia sonora, che musicale. Lo consiglio per chi non li hai mai ascoltati.

ビルボードライブ大阪のライブ予習のために購入しました。最近、どこか懐かしいサウンドばかり聴いてる。。。このVINTAGE TROUBLEもその一つ。ライブに同行するイギリス人のお勧めで知りました。グループ名からも分かる通りビンテージな音源に乗せたタイ・テイラーの声が本当にここちいい１枚です。
