Lovely doors, really well made. The raw pine looks great as is. It is a simple privacy solution. But it’s not so simple to install as the video shows. The sizing is very important and it is NOT noted in the video. Buy with confidence that they will look great but MAKE SURE YOU BUY A SIZE ONE INCH SHORTER THAN THE OPENING you have . If the door total is exactly he same it won’t fit, because it needs space to rotate and if the door total is about 2 inches than the opening you will have to spend hours adding some kind of moulding or find yourself with a gap. I managed to fit one set, spending hours installing a moulding over the gap, but the second set was exactly the same size as my gap and I had to return it. I have a friend who is an angel and helped me. I am not giving up on the second set, and will be buying a smaller one.I have one of those open plans where the kitchen had no doors and I really like that my guests in the living room or dining room don’t see the dirty dishes and kitchen after dinner. When I entertain I leave the cleaning for later, i like to enjoy the company not rush to clean up. This door idea will do the trick without closing in your space and adds a casual look to your kitchen.

REALLY Great doors I think, they are just rather difficult to assemble and hang. Instructions were not very good. Better instructions and different easily adjustable hardware with pre-drilled holes in the door would easily change this to 5 stars and greatly increase the value in my opinion even if the price needed to be raised slightly.I personally made quite a few mistakes but got it close enough in the end that it looks and works great. If you have a straight door frame don't care about the gap in the middle as much as me then you would likely have a much easier time.

I used the cafe doors to separate my kitchen from the laundry room and give both rooms a finished look. First I stained the pine doors with oak wiping stain that went on easily once I got the hang of using a q-tip to stain the corners of the louvres and then wipe the louvres with my staining cloth. After the stain dried for a couple of days, I applied polyurethane (2 coats) with a sponge brush. I watched the YouTube video a couple of times and then used the printed instructions provided with the product to install the hardware and hang the doors. They look great and work perfectly. I am a 73-year-old woman who is somewhat handy with tools.

These arrived quickly and in good packing condition. There are very lightweight, which I prefer, so I don't have to worry about them sagging or pulling away from the wall in the future! This size was a little large for my odd sized doorway, so we shaved off some of each edge and they fit perfect. I have not painted them yet, but we did install them and they look really nice. I did not get any instructions with the hardware, but a quick look on YouTube instruction video made them easy to install.I like to leave them open generally, and I have found that opening one door in one direction and the other in the opposite keeps them open best; although this might just be the way we installed them!

We have an older home. There were swinging doors in the bath area that were removed. We put these up for privacy in the shower/toilet area. I wasn’t too sure about them at first, but everyone loves them. Light weight easy to install. Love the natural color, but would be easy to paint if needed,

Unfortunately my doors are 5/16 an inch too wide so they won't close flush with one another. It's a 32" door frame so I'm disappointed with the advertising. The 1 page instructions were not helpful for me so do an internet search for "install cafe doors" you'll see a video of someone installing this product which was the only way for me to comprehend the installation. It took a few hours. Measure carefully which is why I'm disappointed I spent all that time installing doors that don't fit flush. The wood is nice but very lite and brittle definitely pre-drill all holes b/c the wood will split quick so I had to wood glue and vice clip one section overnight which worked. Doors look nice when assembled. I'm keeping them up assuming one day I can figure out how to shave/cut one of the doors down to size so they're flush. I'm not a carpenter. Also the doors also stay open which is a nice feature. If I had to do this again I would spend more money for heavier/durable wood as I'm worried one on my kids will put their hand through these.

Kind of pricey, but so is every other pre-fab option. Instruction are not clear at all...but I am a handyman type so I was able to figure it out after about 20 minutes
