More detailed than some of the other figures. A must have for fans!
Darth Vader is my third Star Wars Lego figure for my kids. In comparison between Jango Fett and Commander Cody, Vader is much more detailed. His kit has many more pieces. However, many of the pieces are used to make the frame of the body. On the clone trooper and Jango, there is an “H” piece that takes the place of many of the smaller components that Vader uses. The body pieces are where Vader shines. He has armor pieces on the back of his legs and his body pieces are much more detailed. I was a little disappointed with the level of detail on Jango and the clone trooper. Vader has the level of detail that I was looking for. My only disappointment is that the armor pieces stop Vader from being as movable and they make him look a little different. The other figures can be posed in more positions.Pros:• Larger about 1 inch taller• More detailed body pieces• Back side of figure is more completeCons:• Not as posable - looks a little differentDarth Vader makes a great kit. I had to help my 6 year old daughter make him, but she can put the pieces back on that sometimes pop off. He can stand up to kid play. I would recommend him along with any of the other figures.

Lego review
My kids loves legos. Instructions were age appropriate and kept them busy for hours.

Impressive. Most impressive.
I've always avoided these figures because of my childhood obsession with Slizer/Bionicle in 1999.Some 18 years later I finally cave and purchase Darth Vader, because let's face it, this is the pinnacle of lego technic models.Affordable and very cleverly designed, I was not let down - friends have told me this is the future basis for which all figures are designed and after building it, I feel that's true. For kids, he has some excellent play value and the poses are wonderful for the imagination. For adults, well, his cape is excellent in quality but not as big and impressively mounted on the shoulders as the box image would lead us to believe. Like Grievous, you just need to make your own if you really want to go all out. It's funny though, I never noticed how skinny vader's legs are since he's always shrouded in his cloak.

Fun to build, fun to play with, fun to collect
I've given four of these action figures to small boys as gifts, and they've all been a hit. They are just challenging enough to build to be engaging (some adult assistance may be required). The figures have a monumental quality, yet limbs and bodies have enough mobility to make the figures good toys. And they make an impressive collection once you have several. Together they really convey the feeling of a Star Wars cast.If a Legos fanatic has already gone through a lot of Star Wars Lego sets, these figures offer a nice change of pace within the theme.

There's always a dark side... Well done Lego
This is only my second Lego build able figure but by far my favorite. The build is very intricate and satisfying. The level of detail and prints on shielding are great. The figure has great posability although slightly top heavy. I live the Cape and the ability for Vader to hold lightsaber with both hands. The helmet sculpt is very good. I have him displayed with regular vehicle sets. I didn't but him at $29.99, but at $21.99 I'm very pleased. This build may be a little difficult for children under 7, but 7+ will enjoy the build and play possibilities.

This is the best one. Period.
I have several of these figures and this has been the best one out of the ones that I have. The others came with a pre-made torso, but this one takes nearly 80 pieces just to build the dense torso. It feels like it was much more thought out and better quality than the rest in the lineup. I wish the others had the same build quality. I wouldn't mind paying the 10 dollars extra that this one cost to have the extra torso pieces. the other ones are still great though and I plan to try and collect them all! I attached a photo of Luke Skywalker getting a piggy back ride from his father lol

Lego Love....
What's not to love? Lego and action figures (and Darth Vader at that - the coolest villain in the galaxy!). My son could not wait to work on it when the box arrived and finished making it within the hour.Pros: Lego!!, Star Wars, Darth Vader!!, sturdy, well-made, can pose in cool postures, simple to build, looks wonderful.Cons: NoneIncluded: picture of the completed figure
