Good quality, and do what they're supposed to do.
Apparently a lot of the previous reviewers expect more from these than the Laws of Physics allow. These use relative simple, but precision, prisms that turn the light 90 degrees. There are no lenses or mirrors or other optical elements. To make the field of view wider, one would have to either put in a negative lens, which would reduce the size of the image, or else use larger prisms, which, since they are solid glass, would substantially increase the weight of the glasses. That being said, the glasses serve the purpose for which they were designed quite well. The prisms are clear and distortion free, and the frames, though plastic, are quite sturdy. I have used them quite a lot for reading and watching TV, and they work very well. They are a little heavy, but that, to me, is more an indication of their sturdy construction than anything else. The only "Con" I have has to do with shipping. They are shipped in a small cardboard box, wrapped in a cushion of tissue paper. Unfortunately, this does allow them to rattle around inside the box a little. When I received them and opened the box, one of the retaining frames that holds a prism in place had come loose, allowing the prism to shift position, It wasn't too much trouble to fix, so no real harm done, but I do think more secure packing would be a good thing. They shipped quickly, and I received them on the expected date. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

No More Neck Pain!
These are great for using a laptop or reading a book in bed. I am able to lie flat on my back with my laptop on my chest and watch movies or browse the web. Works good for reading too. Before I got these I had issues with a pinched nerve in my neck due to so much laptop use with my head propped up with pillows. These glasses are a great value, good product for the price. They fit over my prescription glasses without issue. They do weigh a lot, due to the glass prism, but this is unavoidable in this type of product. I added some stick-on foam nose pads from the drug store for comfort. The field of view is somewhat limited, but works fine for reading or a small laptop screen. They're not adjustable, so the spacing of the lenses won't be perfect for everyone. It can cause some eyestrain when used for more than an hour of so. This isn't a high end product, but it's the best model I've found in this price range. There is a fully adjustable model that goes for around $100 if you need it.

And they look GREAT: p (sarcasm
Works really well but doesn't fit me at all so I need one hand to hold them up or they just fall off my face. Partially because they're really big and partially because they're really heavy. And they look GREAT :p (sarcasm.) But, I have multiple spinal fusions and can't bend my neck without straining disks, so it's a pretty good solution when I need to 'look down.'

Awful. Do NOT buy!
Extremely small mirrors make it awful to look at anything through them. Unlike other brands for the same price this one has a huge piece between the eyes. It's like if you crossed your eyes and stared at your nose. Constantly noticeable and annoying. Worst buy!

Too heavy, limited field of vision
I was hoping these glasses would be a solution to my reading in bed and my nagging back problems.I find these glasses are too heavy and uncomfortable to wear to a point where I have sore spots on my nose. The peripheral vision of these glasses is also very limited. The concept of these glasses is great, but the next generation prism glasses hopefully uses lighter materials that would allow a wider field of vision.Update August 4:I can't help it, but it's been nagging on me to update this review. I have not worn these glasses for several weeks and my nose is still bruised from wearing them. I never wore these glasses any longer than 20 minutes at a time when I did use them and yet they left their marks. They weigh 3.2 oz versus 0.9 oz for one of my regular reading glasses.

Life changingly awesome
I haven't been using these for long, but I absolutely love them. I have back problems and this enables me to lay flat while working on my laptop or doing reading, so it is increasing my productivity a lot. They fit me well and seem of nice quality! I don't know what more I could want out of this product.Obviously the field of vision through these glasses isn't the same you have without, but you can see everything in front of you perfectly fine. Someone complained about there being an obstruction in the middle of the visual field, but I didn't notice it until it was pointed out and it doesn't interfere with reading at all.I have also read people saying that these make them nauseas and I could see that happening if you move around a lot, but I have not had any issues.

Right Angle Glasses
I use them so that I do not have to bend my neck to read a book or newspaper. It takes a while to get used to using them but they do work quite well. Worn over reading glasses is not comfortable but acceptable. The resulting image is smaller than using spectacles directly. If your eyes are different from each other, hence needing reading glasees, the image in each eye is not as co-ordinated as it is without them. Overall they do what I want them for, and the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

It is not 90 degrees. They really need to ...
It is not 90 degrees. They really need to fix that description. Works as intended to, but requires your head to be tilted a bit (by a pillow or something). Or to put the glasses on the tip of your nose, which would reduce the field of vision, but don't think thats how youre supposed to use it.*not 90 degreesnot the largest field of view but is not heavy as other brand
