The media could not be loaded.  I had low expectations but I was so happy with my first hatch in this incubator. The temperature reading was accurate out of the box and it held the temperature well without any additional insulation around it in my climate controlled home. The egg turner worked flawlessly, and humidity was relatively easy to maintain. Plastic construction makes it easy to clean and sanitize and it is large enough for most hobbyists or small operations. I didn’t use the water bottle until lockdown as my ambient humidity was perfect but during lockdown it was nice to have since I didn’t have to worry about opening it to add water although it can be a bit messy and cumbersome to use until you get used to it. I hatched Coturnix quail in it and it easily held 37 average size eggs with room to spare; I could probably have fit half a dozen more if I needed to. My hatch rate was very high on both shipped and on my own eggs. The floor is grippy enough that I didn’t need to use any liner and I had no leg or foot issues. For the price I think it’s hard to beat. The day counter is also a nice feature and reliable, it even remembered the day count when I briefly unplugged it but it’s not really necessary as I keep my own calendar. I would seriously buy two of these as opposed to one larger one if I needed to hatch more eggs as it is not expensive and redundancy is nice to have. My other incubator is the Janoel 12 and while I had success with that too the temperature had to be recalibrated out of the box and humidity on that unit is slightly more difficult to maintain but I went with this similar design when I needed a larger incubator because I did like the Janoel 12 since it also gave me great hatch rates and was so easy to clean.

The auto water piece is hard to maneuver

We looked into a variety of products to incubate our own fertilized chicken eggs. We didn't need an incubator that could do multiple dozens of eggs, but just wanted a small unit that would be easy to use and clean. Many products are made from foam and we avoided these (as we have little children and one misstep would be the end of the foam).This works out perfect! We added our eggs filled the water tank and let it do its thing. We only had to fill the water tank every other week, which made the process quick and easy. We even purchased a thermometer and hydrometer to maker sure everything worked well. We ended up not needing to correct the thermometer nor adjust water evaporation for the humidity.So far we have been averaging a 95% hatch rate and are already on our third batch of eggs.Once our eggs hatched we just rinsed off the plastic trays and the bottom of the incubator and we were ready for the next batch of eggs (yet another reason why we avoided the foam incubators). Another nice feature of this unit is when the eggs hatch you don't have to worry about the chicks falling down into the water like many of the other units available for purchase.The only drawback is the instructions for adjusting the temperature and settings are very vague and hard to follow (as is typical for non USA made products).

Temperature fluctuates 12 degrees up or down, verified by putting 2 differen brands of independent thermometers inside. Had a dozen fertile eggs. Put 6 in this incubator and 6 in the one I've been using. On day 7, this incubator had no progress, the other one I could see the veins forming.

It’s no good I do not recommend it don’t buy it

This is my first attempt to hatch eggs. The incubator is easy to set up. Instructions simple. A friend uses this brand, the 24 count size. I liked this model because it had the auto water fill.I liked this model is hard plastic cverses styrofoam I think it will be great for my needs.

Hatching birds eggs

Arrived quickly, well packed and in good condition. I ran it for 3 days with distilled water, now I've put the eggs in and wrapped it with a blanket (leaving holes uncovered for airflow) as it suggests insulating the incubator. I added a hygrometer to he inside and I'll update after the hatch but so far everything is works as it should. Was very simple to assemble, and the pieces were clean from the box, but I gave them a quick wash (not the lid electronic components) as suggested per the instructions, with a non-toxic soap for cleaning terrariums that I already had.If you follow the instructions and the recommended set-up with the automatic water attachment, your eggs will drown, it keeps the humidity at over 80%. If you're going to purchase this I suggest manually adding a little water at a time to achieve desired humidity. Temperature was good but humidity was terrible.

Hatched two of three chicks and only one of six geese eggs because goose eggs take longer and had to reset.

Doesn't get warm enough, Temps are way off and humidity is extremely difficult to keep it within spec. None of our eggs hatched. Do not buy!!
