This made it possible for me to ride my son to elementary school. It's sturdy and makes a great seat. Also, you can store a few small grocery items inside it, like 1/2 gallon of milk and some eggs.

The companion bike seat was something ive been looking forward to getting since I first laid eyes on it and it has been fantastic so far as of April 19th 2017. The lockbox does feel flimsy and weak and the lock has broken easily according to other reviews so be careful around the lock. The only issues I have with the bike seat is how much things will rattle in the trunk compartment while riding and that they will charge you an extra 20-24 dollars for a soundcloth to silence it. 20 bucks for a cloth. The seat is very comfortable however and the pegs work great as foot rests. The biggest issue for me is just the amount of noise it generates when going over small gaps and items in the lockbox just making a ton of noise. There is also no way to hang a backpack on the seat without the pannier hooks which also cost additional money, and there's really no where to place a rear light unfortunately

This is a GREAT rear seat/toolbox for my motorized bicycle. There are always little things that need attention on a bike and this seat/box is just what you need to have it when you need it.One Love

Hello I have been an avid ebike rider for many decades, and I love, love this product It is wonderful in every way and more so .

I've been an Amazon customer for over two decades and fortunately had no issues to speak of till now. In the Questions and answers section of this Companion Bike Seat description the company Companion Bike Seat states; "this seat does fit your 2018 RadRover bike", so I ordered it! I also ordered the additional footpegs "stated" you have to purchase in order for the companion bike seat to mount properly and also had to order shims so the companion bike seat will not hit the rear fat tire and cause a crash. Taking every precaution because the passenger will be a child I confirmed everything before purchase from the seller.After purchase I find out it is NOT compatible! The only way to even attempt to make it work would be some form of rig and that could be a deadly formula to kill a kid and yourself! I tried 7 times over 2 weeks to cancel and Amazon stated because it's 3rd party much of what they could normally do is out of their hands even though I was lied to by the seller. The item should have been cancelled upon my 7th request! Furthermore this seller should be banned from Amazon since as of this writing they still state it fits and they do not respond to Amazon calls or emails.

The cost to have this installed ended up being an additional $200. The item itself is falling apart after only a few months. Love the idea though.

Have had this thing for about a year and some months. It's been great! The latch did finally break though, so we can't lock the compartment anymore. I recently changed to an internally geared hub and was told by the bike shop that this shouldn't be used with internally geared hubs. So there's that. Otherwise its been a fun rewarding purchase. I think attaching it to the axles is a weak-point though, they should figure out a better place to attach it.

Such great fun! Heavy duty. More expensive than the cheap Walmart bike I tested it on but worth every penny.
