Great for RV winter storage.
Works as it should. Battery life is very good 90 plus days in winter weather. Not 100% mouse proof but that’s what mouse traps are for!

Rodent Repellent Rids Rats Righteous Results
Last winter, I started hearing noises coming from my attic. Some thumping against the wood rafters. I couldn't tell what kind of critters I was dealing with. I've lived in this house for over 30 years without any such problems. My house is "L" shaped and the 2 entry ways to the attic are at opposite ends of the house. Unfortunately, the problem area sounded like it was at the corner of the "L" and really difficult to get to. I found what I identified as mouse or rat droppings near one of the entry ways, so I set up mice and rat traps. Whatever rodents they were, they toyed with me. They managed to eat the peanut butter on the mouse traps without triggering them, left the rat trap alone and left droppings by the traps as if to taunt me. The traps weren't working so I looked online for a solution. I came across these ultrasonic repellents and ordered 2. I got the ones which took batteries because the noise area wasn't even close to an electrical outlet. My attic is unfinished. Just rafters, insulation and low ceilings with the ends of nails sticking through. It literally took me an hour to crawl from the entry way to the noise area and an hour to get back, as I had to avoid stepping through my ceiling. This was in the winter and I was drenched in sweat. I took my 2 repellent units to the site, set them up, and left. Shortly thereafter, I stopped hearing the noises and hadn't heard any until recently. The C batteries are supposed to last an average of 6 months, but fortunately they lasted closer to 9 months. I knew they were working that long (at least one of them was) because my home office is right below the noise/nest area. I would faintly here them go off in 'the distance'. Just recently, I started hearing critter noises again, since the ultrasonic repellent batteries died. I live in Florida, so the attic heat is usually still oppressive in the winter. I would pass out from heat exhaustion if I ventured in the attic from the spring until fall. It should cool down soon, at which point I'll have to trudge back to the nest site and replace my batteries. I love that these repellents also have strobe lights. I believe that definitely helped get rid of the rodents before. In the meantime, I set up traps and did catch/kill a roof rat. But I saw another one run across the attic, so I've obviously got more to get rid of. I would highly recommend this product.

Don't work for rats.
Purchased these to try to help deter pack rats from wreaking havoc in our engine compartments in a very rural area. While they weren't really effective on these large country pack rats that dont seem to be bothered by anything we've tried yet, the devices seemed to be of quality construction. Also, the seller was helpful and accommodating and had no issues with return & refund. Probably still work for mice and smaller pests. Give it a shot.

DOESN'T WORK !
I do NOT recommend this product AT ALL. We bought this to detour mice ..... just checked where we had also placed a few "traditional " type mouse traps as well as this device..... caught 2 mice in our traditional traps (set with a little dab of peanut butter)...! So.... do these devices work? NOT AT ALL ! I'm out 50 bucks... but hopefully you won't be. Don't you hate getting ripped off? Take my review to heart.

It's Working!
I just received two Angveirt Battery Operated Rodent Repellent Alarms and installed them in both of my vehicles. I had a squirrel chew my electrical system (wires, fuse box, computer module) and start to make a nest out of the hood insulator under my hood in my 2018 Honda Civic. It caused $4400 worth of damage as they had to replace every wire in my engine compartment and the installation hood. I don't want this to happen again so I'm trying everything possible. The two most effective ways I've researched are peppermint oil spray and rodent alarms. I've had the system in my car for a week now and I have seen squirrels come up to my car, run underneath the engine, and quickly run out. So far so good and I'm optimistic this is working. I looked at several options on Amazon and chose this one as I didn't want a system connected directly to my car battery as I don't drive that much and I had fears of it potentially draining my car battery. I know several say they shut off but I don't trust their claims. It's easier just to replace the batteries. I liked this one as it had the best battery life (approx 65 days) using 2 x C batteries. I know I will be replacing batteries often and this unit had an easy to open battery compartment. The other units I saw took 3 x AA batteries but it only lasted approx 45 days and you had to use a tiny screw driver to open the battery cover. That would get annoying and I'd strip that tiny screw over time. The units I purchased don't have any screw, the battery cover just snaps shut. I can hear the faint sound of the alarm when the strobe lights go off so I know it's making an actual sound which I also heard was something to look out for. Fingers crossed the squirrels go somewhere else to nest. These units are definitely worth a try!

Imported this from USA as English ultrasonic & strobing rodent repellents all appeared to be mains powered - at the time we had no electric sockets in the attic, which has since been remedied. During 2025 we suffered squirrel infestation in the attic on 2 occasions. (1st time I drove the pesky little creature out with 1/2 hour concert on my plugged in acoustic guitar. 2nd time this didn't work, the squirrels were obviously not music lovers). Having spread some peppermint balls around the attic, which did appear to help a little, this device, together with some more of those peppermint balls have done the trick. We have now been squirrel free for nearly 6 months. I will highly recommend this device, especially since it doesn't cost you a fortune.

I put mine on a plate under my car, and drive over it when i park. Batteries last about 2 months. It;s not intended for outside use, but it lasts around a year outside in my experience, so long as your car is over the top of it. I've had to use hair dryer when it got inundated. However, I checked using an spectroid app on my phone, and I can see the ultrasonic pips get very weak, so would have little effect. But definitely works for me, and no expensive damage from squirrels since I started using them. I'm on my 3rd unit.

At this time of year I have glis glis and mice coming into my loft, so have installed one of these electronic repellants. However I'm sweeping up vermin droppings next to it on a daily basis! I assume it is working correctly - flashing stobe lights etc. - but obviously having no deterrent effect, very disappointed

After a couple of years of intermittent visits from these pesky rodents and expensive call outs from pest control companies this seems so far to be keeping them away 🤞🤞🤞 My only criticisms are that the unit needs regular battery replacements and instructions were quite poor.
